Objective

Vox Pops International (VPI) runs a bi-annual video research project, designed to bring the UK consumer to life

Word on the Street 

This is an opportunity to join VPI in our video research, filming and interviewing 50 consumers covering 3 locations and a mixed demographic. These will be face-to-face street interviews lasting c.10

minutes each. 

This winter the fieldwork will take place in Birmingham, Glasgow and Greater London in March.

What next?

Creating your videosLong edits:We review the footage and provide the client with a first ‘best of’ edit of c.15 minutes for each of their 3 questions and our questions as well. The client will be the only party with access to their own questions.

Final edit/s:The client will then select the quotes they’d like to use from these long edits. With this service we provide up to 10 minute of final edited footage which is about 60 clips in total and these can be divided up into shorter topic videos.

Video Style

Classic edit – classic head and shoulder shots, to include name/age/occupation straps. Or for the flipboard approach add upbeat music for affect.

Semi-creative edit – to build on the classic edit with any extra stats/facts and buzz words animated into the video, provided by the client.

Creative animated edit – to use vox pops within a fully animated and branded video, which can also include stats/facts and buzz words, OR a kinetic typography animation.

It takes c. 3 days to edit and finalise 10 mins of classic style vox pops and flipboard final videos.

It takes c. 6-7 days to edit and finalise 10 mins of semi-creative style vox pops final videos.

It takes c. 12-14 days to edit and finalise 10 mins of animation style final videos.

Additional options: Having taken on client feedback from previous projects, we will also offer additional options at a small extra cost:Transcripts of each long edit, per question - this can help to select quotes for your final video/s.Summary Report – VPI can provide a basic summary report of the findings for the client questions. OR the client can choose a summary report for all of the findings, including our core questions.

Process:

Agree to proceed. Decide on the edit style. Raise PO number VPI invoice 100% in advance, payable within 30 days of issue, unless agreed otherwise Client submits questions Fieldwork to be conducted in March 2016 Long edits supplied by question, c.10-15 minutes each question Transcripts supplied by question (if required) Client selects clips to create 10 minutes of edited footage We will upload the video to the internet for you to view in either WMV or MP4 You let us know of any changes required We finalise the edit and upload for you

Client can choose whether to have a summary report (if required) before or after editing final videos

Terms and Conditions:

This omnibus is dependent on us having the minimum of 3 exclusive questions selected by 2 or more companies.Vox Pops International owns all rights to the footage and the rushes and the videos can only be shown on websites

and broadcast with our permission and with acknowledgement that we are the producers.  

VPI will watermark videos with our logo
