The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Volunteering activities for under 16s At school - Help out at your school library. - Litter-pick at school with a group of friends. - Tutor younger pupils in a subject you’re good at. - Help to produce your school’s newsletter or social media pages. - Raise awareness of a topic you think pupils at your school should know about e.g. drug and alcohol education, climate change or study skills. - Support younger pupils with their reading at the school library. - Help out at a sports or after-school club. - Encourage your school to be more eco-friendly by introducing a recycling programme. - Create a display at school each week that highlights useful information for pupils.
