We are raising up disciples to shine in a dark world.
We are so proud of the FBC family.
The love that is shared here makes
God happy and attracts others to
want to receive Jesus for them-
selves. Our prayer is that God tre-
mendously moves and brings trans-
formation in your home and with
your extended family. When you
remember that you are in God’s
family, you must also know that you
have a level of authority and per-
mission to create change wherever
you are. This year, we are proud to
say, “Thank God I’m Family”.

Be A Family That
Finishes Strong
We are a spirit filled church, focused on seeking God and seeking souls;
teaching God and teaching souls; reaching God and reaching souls until the
return of Christ.
This year God has placed
the caring of families on
the heart of FBC. We are
a church family that
seeks to teach and reach
out to the extended family of all of
those that we come into contact with.
As a result of FBC family members
sharing Jesus with their family mem-
bers we have seen miracles take
place. Adult children have returned
home to parents, husbands are being
transformed, mothers have joined
their children in church, sibling rival-
ries have been destroyed, and so
many other stories have emerged. We
know that victory in family healing
will not come to everyone at the same
time. However, we believe that if God
has done it for one he can do it for
many others. So, we want to encour-
age you to join us in our quest to heal
marriages. Partner
with us as we share
the love and mercy
Jesus has given us
with our families far and near. It is
not how you start the year that mat-
ters; it is how you end. We have 3
months left to go in 2012. That is
plenty of time for God to greatly im-
pact your home, or create transfor-
mation in your family. We started out
great, now let’s finish Strong!
FBC Wins the 4x4 By A Mile!
After receiving a vision from God and putting God’s plan together the FBC family began a
Spiritual 4x4. As a family that understands it takes a village to rear a child we forged a bond
for 4 months to reach 40 saved souls, 40 reclaimed disciples, and give $40k in sacrificial giv-
ing. This race bridged generational, cultural, and social gaps as we handed off the baton to
claim spiritual victory through aggressive faith. We are excited to announce that if there was a
gold medal to be won from this 4x4, the faith of FBC has earned it.

This year FBC will celebrate 146
years of active ministry. We strive
to stay connected to Christ while
reaching into the heart of our com-
munity. This year’s theme has come
from Romans 8:14-18. T.G.I.F. or
Thank God I’m Family. The theme
has caused us all to reflect on how
we interact with family. It has also
inspired us to pray for and minister
more to family members that may
not already know Jesus for them-
selves. The church anniversary week
is a great to dress down and invite
your family to come and experience
God for themselves. Each night will
be unique as a different family will
be leading us through the worship
experience. As usual we will have
grace gifts each night, insightful
teaching, powerful preaching, minis-
try through music and dance all de-
signed to grow your relationship
with biological and church family.
Come and join us Sunday at 8:30AM
& 11AM. Then Mon—Thur at 7PM.

Why Sow Seed?
2 Corinthians 9:6 ESV
The point is this: whoever sows spar-
ingly will also reap sparingly, and
whoever sows bountifully will also
reap bountifully.
Ecclesiastes 11:6 ESV
In the morning sow your seed, and at
evening withhold not your hand, for
you do not know which will prosper,
this or that, or whether both alike will
be good.
Galatians 6:7 ESV
Do not be deceived: God is not
mocked, for whatever one sows, that
will he also reap.
Genesis 26:12 ESV
And Isaac sowed in that land and
reaped in the same year a hundred-
fold. The Lord blessed him.

An Opportunity to
access the overflow of
God is Coming Your
Way! On November
11, the FBC family
will gather at the altar
during both the
8:30AM and 11AM
worship service to pre-
pare for a harvest. How
do you get abundant
overflow harvest?
That’s easy you must
sow seeds.
A seed offering is a
sacrificial financial of-
fering that you give
with a purpose. When
you give it, you must
have something in
mind that you are be-
lieving God for, or
something that you
want God to do. We
believe that the same
way in which we plant
seeds expecting a par-
ticular crop or fruit, our
seed offering planted
with faith produces fa-
vor.
Why does it have to
be money? Well, God
responds to the sinceri-
ty of you heart. Luke
12:34 says, “For
where your treasure is,
there will your heart be
also.” It is true that
God values other as-
pects of your life.
However, we have to
be honest about our
finances. Money has a
way of controlling a lot
of what we do and we
how choose to spend
our time. The sowing
of financial seeds
opens one of your most
valuable and treasured
aspects. This shows
God that you trust him
with more than the are-
as of life that are not
important to you, but
the things you treasure
the most. Seed sowing
is an expression of
your faith. Hebrews
11:6 reminds us, “But
without faith it is im-
possible to please him:
for he that cometh to
God must believe that
he is, and that he is a
rewarder of them that
diligently seek him.”
Seeding is one way to
put your faith into ac-
tion.
Join us as we sow seed
into the good ground of
FBC ministry. Your
planting of $50, $150,
$300, $500, or $1000
will be used to contin-
ue providing life
changing ministry in
our community and for
our FBC family.
