I’m Al Nix and I have the privilege of being a part of the Gunfighter team as the wing school liaison between our base and Idaho communities.
My mission, as YOUR school liaison, is to provide a great learning environment and experience for your children. Whether you choose traditional, charter, parochial, online or homeschooling, I have resources to help you along your journey.
I am committed to outreach, advocating for our students, and developing partnerships with my fellow helping agencies to generate real-time solutions for our military connected students.
I attend every local school board meeting and provide an update on concerns from base leadership and parents. It is my role to make sure your voice is represented in the community.
Whether you have a challenge with a teacher, a curriculum or bullying concern, deployment issues, or you are concerned about being able to try out for band, drama, or an athletic team, I can help you find the answers to your questions.
Bottom line is, I am here to make sure that you and your family have an awesome educational experience!
“Ride hard, Shoot Straight, Always Speak the Truth”

School Librarian, Mrs. DeVore is proud to have made the library at Stephensen Elementary “a special place of love, and acceptance”. She has made it her life’s work to make sure every student she comes in contact with “believes in themselves” and their ability to read!
