Knights of Columbus Council #3548 “Best in the South” March 2014 Vol 51 Issue 9 Dear Brother Knights and Family, March is here and it’s finally time for the events everyone waits for all year: Ash Wednesday, Lent, the Emerald Ball, and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This year promises to be the best yet. A hearty thanks to Warden Pete Wellman, DGK Bill Duncan, Jennifer Duncan, and all their crew for the fantastic steak dinner at the Night Out with your Sweetheart. The Strolling Strings provided the perfect atmosphere for a good dinner. It was a great night for everyone. And thanks to all that worked and attended our Sunday breakfast last month. We had about 50 people for breakfast and it really was great to see people coming to the Knights to socialize before and after Mass. Remember – due to the parade, there will be no Sunday Breakfast for March. There are many events coming up so please take note of the calendar. Keep in your prayers: Fr. McGivney, our troops and veterans, and all the sick and/or in distress Brothers and family. Go to Mass and pray the Rosary often.
