Program Objectives (POs)
The Program Outcomes of Bachelor in Pharmacy course are:
1. Pharmacy Knowledge: An ability to acquire, demonstrate, core and basic
knowledge of Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences
2. Planning Abilities: An ability to develop, implement, effectively plan and
organize work using time management, resource management, delegation skills
and organizational skills to achieve goals in specified timeline.
3. Problem Analysis: An ability to identify, analyze, interpret data and take
appropriate decision to solve problems related to routine Pharmacy Practices by
applying acquired knowledge.
4. Modern Tool Usage: An ability to understand, choose and utilize Modern
techniques and computing tools for Pharmacy practices by considering
constraints.
5. Leadership Skills: An understanding of pharmaceutical management principles
and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage
projects to facilitate improvement in social health and well being.
6. Professional Identity: An ability to recognize, analyze and communicate
Pharmacy professional values as a healthcare promoter.
7. Pharmaceutical Ethics: An ability to understand and use professional, ethical,
legal, social issues and responsibilities for well being of the society.
8. Communication: An ability to comprehend, write reports, present and
document to communicate effectively for exchange of professional information
to Pharmacy community and society.
9. The Pharmacist and Society: An ability to overcome the societal, health and
legal problems by providing better pharmaceutical care relevant to the
Pharmacy profession.
10. Environment and Sustainability: An ability to recognize the impact of the
professional Pharmaceutical solutions in social and environmental
circumstances for sustainable development.
11. Life-Long Learning: An ability to recognize the need to engage in continuous
Professional development by taking in consideration timely feedback and

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO)
Pharmacy Students are able to:
PSO 1: To build graduate to excel in technical or professional careers in various
pharmaceutical industry and/ or institute and /or Health care system through rigorous
education. Also analyze and communicate the skills, values of their professional roles in
society.
PSO 2: To learn, select, apply appropriate methods, procedures, resources and modern
pharmacy-related computing tools with an understanding of the limitations.
PSO 3: To operate, control, analyze and evaluate chemical substances and finished
products also processes within permissible limits.
PSO 4: To design a system, component or process to meet desired needs within
realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, sustainability social, ethical,
health, safety and manufacturability for humans.

Webinar on “Scope of Clinical Research And Associated Domains”
in association with CLINI INDIA
PRES’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik successfully
conducted a webinar on "Scope of Clinical Research And Associated Domains" in
association with Clini India on 12th June 2020. The guest speaker for the event was Mr.
Vishal Chaudhari, Head of Operation, Clini India. The training experts delivered the
presentation with various example's and video's. The session witnessed the B. Pharm,
and M. Pharm students, which helped them to understand the scope in clinical research
and associated domains. The session was very interactive and helpful for the students.
The session was co-ordinated by Dr. Kiran B. Kotade.

Webinar on “Strategy for GPAT and NIPER preparation” in
association with Pharma Elite
PRES’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik conducted a
webinar on “Strategy for GPAT and NIPER preparation” in association with Pharma Elite
on 13th June 2020. The guest speaker for the event was Mr. Dharmesh Mehta, Founder,
PharmaElite, Mumbai. The idea behind the webinar was to familiarize students more
extensively with the GPAT and NIPER test and also to allow them to interact with
examples of the practical problems that always occur during the Test. The session was
very interactive and helpful for the students. The session was co-ordinated by Mrs.
Sangita N. Bhandare.

Birthday celebration of Hon’ble Namdar Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil
Pravara Technical Educational Campus, Nashik celebrated Birthday of Hon’ble
Namdar Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Chairman, Pravara Rural Education Society,
Pravaranagar on 15th June 2020 at Seminar Hall. By considering the corona pandemic
condition, Automatic hand sanitizer machine was inaugurated by the hands of Dr. Y. R.
Kharde, Principal, SVIT, Nashik. The machine was developed by Prof. Bhambare,
Department of E&TC. Also mask was distributed to all faculty members of PTEC.
International Yoga Day Celebration
Pravara Rural Education Society’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women) has
celebrated “International Yoga Day” virtually to provide a platform for thought-
provoking deliberations on 21st June 2020 from 8.00 am to 9.00 am. The main aim of
this online training was sensitizing students and teachers to; Yoga plays a crucial role in
promoting health in a holistic manner by improving physical, mental, emotional and
spiritual health.
Dr. Charushila J. Bhangale, Principal; emphasized on one-size-its-all solution to
fight stress and also alleviate other ailments, she also encouraged students to practice
regular yoga to remain it and improve concentration.
Ms. Miss. Harshada Aher (Yoga Trainer, Divine Heart Yoga, Pune) and Ms Ankita
Shinde, demonstrated and conducted session by warm up exercises and all the
students/teachers performed sitting and standing asana, importance of these were
explained simultaneously. In her session, she demonstrated various asana. Dr. Sachin B.
Somwanshi, coordinator summarized the session. Mrs. Kaveri. T. Vaditake, NSS
coordinator, proposed a vote of thanks.

NSS Warri
NSS volunteers of PRES’S College of Pharmacy (for women), Chincholi, Nashik
under SPPU “Swach Wari- Swasth Wari- Nirmal Wari Harit Wari” program “Awkening of non-
conformity and misunderstanding regarding cleanliness and decontamination as well as Covid-
19” (30th June 2020 to 7th July 2020) are actively involved at their respective places in
cleaning, sanitization and awareness regarding basic information about corona virus,
precautions to be taken, symptoms and do’s and don’ts was informed to the people. NSS
volunteers also conducted family survey and awareness regarding restriction on open
defecation and spitting at public places at their respective places. The NSS volunteers and staff
members of the institute are also actively involved in plantation program. In the plantation
program various medicinal and fruit saplings were planted.

Covid-19 Awareness Program
PRES’S College of Pharmacy (for women), Chincholi, Nashik organized Covid-19
Awareness Program on 2nd July 2020 with the objective of exploring ways and means to
improve one's immune system which at present is the need of the hour along with measures like
frequent washing of hands and practicing social distancing.

Dr. Shaikh, Nashik emphasized that the physical and mental wellness had and will play a
major role in a person's robust immune system, which included enough sleep, a staple healthy
diet rich of whole plant food and prebiotics, moderate exercise, consumption of enough water
and managing stress levels. Dr Joshi also cautioned the participants on the spread of the virus in
different climatic conditions, precautionary measures to be taken in post-lockdown period, how
to take care against asymptomatic infection carriers and contaminated food. Lastly he
distributed homeopathic medicine to all faculty members.
Dr. Charushila J. Bhangale, Principal during the interactive session appealed to all not to
fall prey to rumours, and explicitly explained that lowering of the immune system is an
invitation to virus attack and therefore, good health of the people is the key to combat it. Dr.
Ramdas T. Dolas, co-ordinator summarized the session with a vote of thanks.

Tribute to Hon. Shrimati Sindhutai Eknathrao Vikhe Patil
A tribute was paid to late Shrimati Sindhutai Vikhe Patil on the occasion of her first
death anniversary on 6th August 2020 by all teaching, non-teaching staff.
Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Birth Anniversary
PRES’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik celebrated the
120th Birth Anniversary of the founder Padmashree, Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil on, 3rd
August 2020. The programme commenced with the welcome address by Dr. Charushila
J. Bhangale, Principal followed by the lamp lighting. Dr. S. N. Hiremath was the Chief
Guest of this function who addressed the gathering and enlightened with life and
philosophy of Padmashree, Dr. Vithal Rao Vikhe Patil. He laid emphasis on values shown
by our revered founder. Dr. V. A. Kashid, coordinator summarized the event.

Ganesh Idol Making Competition
PRES’s, College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik conducted ‘Ganesh
Idol Making Competition’ under theme ‘Make eco-friendly Bappa and let's celebrate eco-
friendly GANESHOTSAV’ on 18th August to 22nd August 2020. Approximately 22
participants actively participated in competition. Dr. Sachin B. Somwanshi coordinated
the event.

Launch of Fit India Youth Club_Walking with Friend and Family
Members _August 2020
On the occasion of Independence Day of the country, NSS Department of PRES’s,
College of Pharmacy (For Women), Chincholi, Nashik launched another nation-wide
initiative, the Fit India Youth Club under the guidelines of Savitribai Phule Pune
University, Pune.
The Fit India Youth Club, a part of the Fit India Movement envisioned by Prime
Minister Narendra Modi, endeavours to harness the power of youth to create mass
awareness about the importance of fitness, across the country.

Independence Day
74th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 15th August
2020. The celebration started at 7:30 a.m with the hoisting of National Flag. To
commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, Dr. Charushila J. Bhangale, Principal
unfurled the tricolour flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem to pay homage to
the nation. Dr. Y. R. Kharde, Principal, SVIT, Nashik delivered message on the occasion
and paying tribute to the freedom fighter and leaders of the Indian independence
movement who had sacrificed their lives. The celebration ended with vote of thanks. All
the staff members were present at the occasion. Sweets were distributed at the end of
the programme.
