"The Next 100 Years….Conversations About our Future" Consul Community
Hall—Thursday, March 7, 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm. You are invited to participate in a
Town Hall Conversation about what assets (resources, people, values,
investments, dreams) our community will need to see a successful future for our
children! Some of you might be aware that I (Dave Manley) am pursuing my
DMin degree in Ministry and Rural Development through the Saskatchewan
Theological Union at the U of S. The degree is 'project' based and will require me
to lead a community team in choosing, planning and installing a project in our
community within the next 3 years. This event is just part of the process
involved in helping me and my Team decide on which project to pursue. I would
love to have as many people involved as possible... your input is invaluable to
my research and to the future of our community! Please plan to attend.
This event is will be sponsored by Manley Bread and Honey, and coordinated by
the Community Team who are assisting me in the pursuit of my degree. If you
have any questions, please feel free to contact me! Dave 299-2139

Thank you so very much to all of my friends and neighbours who stopped in on
my last afternoon at the Credit Union to wish me well on my retirement (and birth-
day). The good wishes I received from all of you, and the cards and gifts were
overwhelming. I have always enjoyed my job, and I will miss seeing you across the
counter, and helping you. Ed and I are looking forward to this opportunity to
travel; however, we will be back in the spring, so please plan to visit and have a
coffee, as I will have lots of time for visiting then. Thank you again. Sharon
I would like to thank everyone for all the cards, gifts and phone calls I received
for my birthday. Thanks to Terry for all her “over the hill” decorations. Special
thanks to Louise for the curling-ice cake and candygram; also to Debra for all her
input for the occasion. Good time was had by all! Thanks! Peggy
