Are you looking for a place to get connected on Sunday morning? Take advantage of Grace being located in two locations. You are invited to join in as we reach the Rockaway area for Christ. Come for the worship, the meaningful fellowship, or join as a volunteer in Rockaway. There are many ways to get connected. But the first step begins with you! Consider serving twice a month, you will have a greater impact that you imagine.

We meet every Sunday 10:00 A.M. at the

Dennis B. O'Brien Elementary School GPS: 418 Mineral Springs Drive, Dover, NJ

Contact [email protected] for more information.

Welcome to Grace Church. No matter which campus you visit you will spiritually benefit from the life changing biblical teaching, worshipful praise music, and an extensive children's program. Grace is here to raise up generations of families that are built to last and we are glad you are part of it!

If you would like to learn about the power of prayer, what it means to walk a biblical walk, how to read and understand your Bible or anything about Christianity, we would invite you to come to a "New Believer's Class". If you have never had any training on basic Christian disciplines like prayer, Bible study, how to have a daily devotional time, or even answer the question: "How can I be sure I am going to heaven?" This is the class for you. The class begins on Sunday, March 3 at 9:45 A.M., and meets in the white house (8-week class). Sign up in the lobby beginning February 10. The cost of the class is $10. For more information, contact John Kedash at 973-579-2127 or [email protected].

After much anticipation, we are pleased to welcome Reuben Scheeringa to Grace as the Pastor of Student Ministries! Believe it or not, he drove from Anchorage to Netcong! His first official Sunday was January 13. Take a minute and welcome Reuben to the Grace family, his email is [email protected]. Also, you could pray for the whole Scheeringa family as Heather and the three kids need to remain in Alaska for a time, and the separation will be difficult.

On Saturday February 23, room 100, 8:00 A.M. your life could very well change in a remarkable way. That is the first day of the “Run for God” class

(www.RUNFORGOD.com). Get up and come join other family members from Grace for a Bible Study as well as a training program. You know that winter can mean extra pounds and unhealthy choices. This is a way for you to combine a spiritual training with a physical discipline. The class will meet weekly and will culminate with everyone running in a 5K race. If you have never run, or if you are a seasoned runner and would like to help encourage others, there is a place for you in this class. It is geared for those of us who are non-runners. The training literally starts with jog/walk intervals for just a few minute. The class is for ages 5 and up and will run about 12 weeks. The cost of the book is $19. For more information email Dave Hickey at [email protected]. Sign ups begin Sunday, February 3.

Friday, March 1, 6:00 P.M. is a special night at Grace for fathers and daughters. That is the date of the Father/Daughter Dinner. The night will start with appetizers and music at Casa Bianca on Berkshire Valley Road in Oak Ridge. There will be a buffet, desserts and coffee, music, games, dancing and memories! Fathers and daughters of all ages are welcome. Dads, your relationship with your daughter is special and something to cherish. Show her that she is special to you by asking her to accompany you on this wonderful night. She is guaranteed to love it. The cost is $30 for adults and $20 for those 12 and

under. Tickets go on sale in the lobby on February 10. If you have any questions, contact Tim at [email protected]. **Contact Tim if you would be willing to provide a scholarship for a father and daughter who might not be able to afford the evening.

Grace Church has a ministry to senior citizens that could use your talent. Once a month our seniors come together to enjoy a hot meal, supplied by volunteers, and Christian fellowship. If you like to cook and are willing to contribute once or twice a year, we could use your skills and generosity! To volunteer, please contact Susan Healy at: [email protected] Thank you for your ministry to a grateful group. You will be a blessing.

Are you the one always “giving” or always “giving in”? Do you feel compelled to res-cue and “fix” others even though you are hurt in the process? Do you feel the need to control others and be responsible for solving their problems? Are you stuffing resentment and anger because it isn’t Christian to have these feelings? If you can identify with these issues, we encourage you to join us for the Conquering Code-pendency study. It will give us insight into these and so many more behaviors sur-rounding the “codependent dance” of caretaking others. We will explore what it means to have healthy relationships and take care of ourselves in the process. This God centered, 12 step study is life changing! If you have questions please contact Nancy Sullivan at 862-258-3071.
