Sew Crazy Buggy Barn — Have wanted to make a Buggy

Barn quilt by didn’t know how to get started? Or just want some help

working on a buggy barn quilt that you started? This is the class for

Beginning Quilting — Have you wanted to learn how to quilt, but just don’t know where to start? Join Anna

and learn the basic skills of making a quilt, including choosing fabric, rotary cutting, sewing an accurate seam,

pressing, borders, binding, and a lot more in this six week class. You will be making a sampler wall hanging in

class as you learn how to make six different quilt blocks. We’ll also show you other fun ideas on how to use these

simple blocks to make larger quilts.

Kashmir— This striking design is based on Jinny Beyer’s Kashmir quilt, but has been simplified by

using a strip piecing method. The contrasting colors allow it to sparkle and the color combinations are

endless. This quilt can be completed in two sizes either 68” x 68” or 92” x 92".

Great for Beginners to Advance. Kits available in 3 different color ways. (The kits are for the 68” x

68”, if you want the 92” x 92” you will need two kits)

Twisted Log Cabin or Twisted Nine-Patch — Using Quilt in a Day new 2 1/2”

Strip Wonky Ruler you can either make the Twisted Log cabin or the Twisted Nine-Patch. This

quilt adds a new twist on a traditional Log Cabin with several layout options.

Crocheted Blanket Edging – Introducing Edgit! Piercing & Crochet Hooks. You can now crochet on

the edge of your favorite fabrics. Use the Edgit! to embellish aprons, kitchen towels, pillowcases, blankets

and, of course, all your baby projects too! We will teach you how to use the Edgit Tool to add a personal touch

to these adorable baby blankets. Once you learn the technique you can use it for any project — knit or cro-

chet, blankets, hats, leg warmers, mittens, apparel, pillow cases, table mats, and more.

Knitting 101 — Learn the basics of knitting! You will learn the skills to make scarves as well as follow

simple patterns for flat knitting projects. We will teach you to cast on, knit, purl, and cast off as you work on a

pot holder. No experience necessary.

January: Falling Charms — Join us for day to sit and sew this fun,

easy scrappy quilt. This is a great quilt to showcase those wonderful fabrics .

This quilt is great in baby, children, batiks or beautiful floral.

February: Disappearing Pinwheel— The Disappearing Pinwheel pattern is a fun way to

create multiple different blocks with just one technique! By rearranging the squares into different

configurations you can make a quilt with completely different looks.

simple way to choose to be happy. It goes together in a

April: Magic Diamond –Learn a new way of making half-square triangle. Once you’ve

mastered the art of the half-square triangle, the quilting possibilities are endless! You will be

making quilts in no time!

Skill Builder Classes Each month we will be doing a new Skill Builder Class to introduce new tools & techniques, to enhance your quilting knowledge.

SB: Precision Rotary Cutting — Do you find yourself struggling to get precise cut pieces, but don’t know what to do to make them

better? In this class we will show you some techniques to help get those perfect cut pieces, so cutting is no longer overwhelming.

SB: Borders— Have you ever had a quilt with its borders waving at you, or your quilt is not square when you are finished with the bor-

ders? Come learn the process of putting on borders that will make your quilt show its best side! We will also show techniques of how to do

different types of borders like mitered, pieced, or corner square borders. We will talk about adding and sizing of different borders.

SB: Side Kick Ruler — Learn how to use the Side Kick Ruler by Jaybird Quilts to be able to make beautiful

SB: Decorative Stitching— Have you ever wanted to play with the

wonderful decorative stitches on your machine but did not know where to

start? In this class we will be making a receiving blanket and/or burp rag

to play with your decorative stitching. You will be amazed at how much you

can change the look of projects with these fun stitches.
