To kick off the new year, my family and I celebrate Janu- ary 1st with a Japanese tradition... eating. I mean, pigging out all day long with everyone’s favorite foods including sushi, chicken teriyaki, sashimi and junk food. It’s fun and it’s a delicious way to welcome 2009 and spending it with friends and family. Then in February, my husband’s side of the family gets together for Chinese New Year’s. My mother-in-law also cooks up a special dinner for just her children and it’s so yummy. To welcome in the Chinese New Year, we’ll have a fun class on Year of the Ox. My husband Ken (the year of the Dragon) will teach this class and as always, his ideas are on FIRE! Please also join us for some new classes, we’ll travel to different parts of the world and create cards from that country. Take all three classes and receive 10 dollars off. We’ll also have a class on decorating and making favors... so brides and party planners, listen up... this class will be just for you! So fun! We’ll also continue with our oldies but goodies classes too, our most popular asian classes (take all three and also receive 10 dollars off), dragonfly classes and a cupcake card making class! Make it your New Year’s resolution to be creative, pick up an ink pad, stamp, fun cardstocks and take a class and see what beautiful art you can make, I promise... you will not only amaze your friends... you’ll be impressed with yourself!
