School for Accelerated Learning and Technologies (SALTech) has always been dedicated to ensuring the success of young adults within the community. When granted the opportunity to partner with students, the board and faculty members of SALTech do everything possible to ensure the success of their students.
The most valuable members of the SALTech family are the students. Therefore, it is always a top priority to ensure that students graduate with their high school diploma. Once students receive their high school diplomas, the possibilities are endless.
Due to SALTech’s continued diligence in ensuring the success of students, graduation rates have increased at SALTech. Graduation rates from 2013-2015 have increased by nearly 8% and are expected to continuously rise in the very near future. §

Employment News SALTech has been around since 2004, and many changes have taken place within that amount of time. Some things that have not changed include SALTech’s commitment to helping the youth in our community succeed and gain the ability to live a better life than they may imagine.
Other things that have remained steady at SALTech includes several board and faculty members that have remained consistent throughout the years. These members include: Mrs. Evelyn Tukes (5 years), Mrs. Angela Tompkins (3 years), Mr. Robert Hayeck (11 years), Mrs. Janice Bates (10 years), Mr. Michael LaRoche (10 years), and Mrs. Amber Lee (5 years). These board and faculty members have dedicated many years of love, hard work, and exceptional talent into making
SALTech great. They all plan to continue in this effort while sharing their successes with new team members.
At present, SALTech has hired 12 new faculty members to fulfill instructional, supportive, and administrative roles. However, this is only the beginning, as SALTech has several more roles to fill due to the current expansion.
The present board and faculty are excited and anticipating their opportunity to welcome their new peers.
As a way of expressing their happiness and gratitude, SALTech will be inviting all new colleagues to the SALTech End of Year Celebration in June. During the celebration, everyone will have the chance to meet one another for the first time and
become more acquainted—not only with the staff and board, but also with their families and close friends.
Everyone will also have the opportunity to discover this year’s “Employee of the Year” and top three “Master Teachers.” All faculty members are expected to begin the new school year with orientation and trainings at the beginning of July 2016.
With all this magnificence taking place, this is certainly an exciting time to be a part of the SALTech Community!
