Happy Spring Everyone!

Just letting you know that as the

weather warms up and fruit be-

comes available, we will be offering

fresh fruit plates to the residents

again as part of the weekly menu.

Also a wider variety of salads will be

available in our spring and summer

line up. If you have any suggestions

for happy hour appetizers or addi-

tions to our snacks that your loved

ones has a preference for we

would appreciate your input. Our

office is located next to the Colli-

nade dinning room near the

newest wing in our facility.

In the kitchen we have two new

employees, Mike Parks and Han-

na Algiere. Mike is our evening

relief cook who has also been

cross trained in all other areas in

the kitchen. Hannah is a senior in

high school participating in the

Marks running biography:

Born in Massachusetts to a

Navy officer the family moved

every couple of years. Mark

has 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

He spent two years in the Ar-

my ,four years in the Ready

Reserves for his country during

that time he was a combat

Engineer. For 23 tears Mark

worked as a meat cutter with

seven years as a foreman.

Mark is very interested in

learning his new position but

understands that it will be a

slow process. One of his ideas

is to get a resident survey out

to the resident asking for

input for future programs.

Last week a new resident

council Vice President ,Mark

Harper was chosen in a close

election by the residents. He

brings many valuable assets to

the position such as humor ,

determination and a desire to

serve the residents needs

through proper voice represen-

tation at each council meeting.
