Street teams create, drive and build brand awareness:

u Visually: reps can wear simple branded attire or more comprehensive signage like flag packs

u Verbally: reps relay key points to consumers as they interact with them at street level, even those simply passing by catch wind of reps key messaging

A small team of reps stationed outside a restaurant, a busy intersection, or a high profile event can capture

the attention of the masses without the cost of a pricey permit.

Large teams can canvas an entire city. A strategy to divide and conquer, carefully

planned out routes and a large task force can create big results. Neighborhoods,

intersections, and attractions are all considered for this strategy.

Measurable Results! What data can you expect to measure? Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include, but are not limited to: the number of samples distributed, consumers engaged, prizes won, sign ups attained.

With street teams we can actually measure the results. We do this a number of ways:

u Coupon redemption rate – how many were distributed vs. how many were redeemed u Sample quantity distributed – how many total samples/materials went into the hands

of consumers u General vs. quality engagements – interactions that lasted less than 20 seconds

vs. 20 seconds or more u Data capture – contest entries, and sign ups are a great way to gage program

success u Total number of impressions – as reported by ambassadors, these

include those who passed by the team and noticed the activation u Consumer feedback – brand and activation specific comments from

passersby as reported by ambassadors. This can be extremely helpful for future activations and consumer insight analysis
