President-Elect Jeremy Kaiser (r) and Past District Governor Bill Tubbs (l), with District-Governor-Elect Erna Morain of Waukee, represented North Scott Rotary at the Feb. 16 Grant Management Semi-nar at the West Liberty Community Cen-ter. Purpose of the Seminar, which was attended by 35 Rotarians from 17 clubs, was to provide required training for clubs to be eligible to participate in Rotary Foundation Community Grants and Glob-al Grants.

The iJAG program helps students discover their individual talents, develop skills, and seize opportunities to achieve their personal potential. Our iJAG program is operated as a "for-credit" elective course during the regular school day. Our iJAG specialist, Bridget Frisk works with students in areas of leadership, employment and, in some cases, academic support. The objective of the iJAG program is to provide students with classroom and work-based learning experiences that result in training or education in a career after graduation. If you would like more information on iJAG or how your student can get involved in iJAG please contact Bridget Frisk at [email protected]

Bridget Frisk is currently an 11th & 12th Grade iJAG Education Specialist at North Scott High School. Prior to teaching with iJAG, she worked with in the Adult Basic Education department at Scott Community College. While her formal education is all business, Bridget has dedicated her career to adult learners and is now bringing experience to young adults through iJAG.

The 4 Way Test Of the things we THINK SAY or DO

1. Is it the TRUTH?

2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?

3. Will it build GOOD WILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
