The Greater Kansas City Home Builder’s Association InauguralCelebration held Thursday, December 6 at Brio on The Country ClubPlaza, welcomed new Board President Fred Delibero as the HBA’s 68thPresident. “It has been an honor serving on many HBA committees overthe past decade, and most recently serving on the executive committeeas secretary/treasurer and vice president helping to lead the HBAthrough some of the most challenging times in our history,” saidDelibero. “My commitment to the homebuilding industry and thisorganization remains steadfast,” he added.
Fred is founder and president of Lee’s Summitbased Summit Custom Homes, one of the largestvolume homebuilders in the metro area. He hasbeen a member of the HBA since 2002, the sameyear he started his company. “I started SummitCustom Homes during some very good times forthe homebuilding industry and rode the rollercoaster of uncertainty together with all of ourmembers over the past five years. It’s been achal lenging, educational and rewardingexperience and one I’m happy to have survived.Through it all, the HBA was there to support ourindustry with quality education, marketinformation, political advocacy at the local andstate level and unmatched networking opportunities,”Delibero said.
In addition to his service at the HBA, he alsoserves as a member of the National Association ofHome Builder’s Board of Directors and is a
