Helpful Shortcuts

• Commands can be abbreviated, in many cases three letters will access a command.

• The F5 key brings up choices for verbs and nouns.

• The F7 and F8 keys and PgDn/PgUp

Adding an Extension

• There are two critical pieces of information necessary to add an extension– The extension number (Per system numbering plan all

12xx, 13xx, 3xxx and 4xxx are available)

– The port• Ports are identified by system/shelf/slot/port ie. 01B0710

means System 01, B means the card is on shelf B, 07 is the slot number and 10 is the port number.

• Port flavors – digital, analog, trunk, tone-receiver, etc.
