The 'Press 9' Opt Out option is voice prompted to the prospect and if selected the telephone number is added automatically to the system DNC list and all future call attempts will be blocked.
The CDR report 'Action' column reflects the opt out as does the global stats report.

The telemarketing guidelines differ from country to country but scrubbing your database against the numbers that have opted out in the national registry is essential.
