THE COMPACT MSCFOR RURAL DEPLOYMENTS
WorldGSM™ is the first mobile network designed from the ground
up, to serve rural populations in developing markets – and do it
profitably. We call the approach “Microtelecom” and it is going to
help billions of people make their first phone calls.
The WorldGSM™ MSC is an engineering breakthrough: a complete
standalone Mobile Switching Center in a compact box – easy
to install at the periphery of any GSM network. A single MSC
supports up to 5 WorldGSM™ 500i BSC nodes, serving over 10,000
subscribers and 40,000 BHCA.
The WorldGSM™ MSC features complete remote management.
All operations & maintenance, including software updates, are
performed through the WorldGSM™ remote OMC.
WorldGSM™ MSC brings all the benefits of being rural optimizedby high-end performance, high-reliability, and compactness, with
simplified installation and security control policies to your network.
WorldGSM™ BENEFITS
