1st: At 12pm we are having a meal for those who have recently left. Please pray that Lis, Emma,

Diane, Rich, Simon and Claire know God’s guidance for the future.

2nd: Please pray for the SOLID executive as they meet and pray with Viz Trustees to look at the

future of SOLID and how we can grow and develop it's ministry.

3rd: Den has a GB Ministries Board Meeting at 11am in Didcot. Please also pray for Taste who

have had to postpone bookings in June and need to find drummers and bass players to

fulfil bookings for the remainder of the year.

4th: Many of us are going to Beth Powney’s Ordination at Sandy Baptist Church. Pray for Beth

and Stephen and the family on this special occasion.

5th: Den is preaching at Brentwood Baptist Church. Ed has a ‘Just A Child’ Training and

Consultation with Milford Baptist Church.

6th: Junior SOLID Management Team Meeting 7.30pm. Please pray that the different elements of

the day come together.

7th: SOLID Venue Managers Meeting at 10am. Viz-A-Viz Ministries Leadership Team Meeting at

1pm. Please pray for the team as they meet and discuss various issues and upcoming

events.

8th: Taste Team Leader Auditions. Pray for Andy and Joy and the applicants as they meet. Pray

that the conversations will be valuable and the right decisions made.

9th: Ed, Laura, Alan and Den plan to visit the Counties LIFE Exhibition in Basingstoke and to talk

about working together in the future.

10th: Ed and Joy have a meeting in Westminster about next year’s Baptist Assembly to be held in

London. Please pray that the right decisions will be made.

11th: Ed and Laura are at Earl’s Hall Baptist Church, Westcliff running a Just A Child Training

morning. Please pray for the youth and children’s workers that will be attending, that it will

be an inspiring and encouraging time for them in furthering their youth and children’s

ministry.

12th: Den is preaching at Billericay Baptist Church at 10am and 6.30pm. Ed is preaching at Beulah

Baptist Church in the morning. Pray that God really speaks through both of them.

13th-17th: Den is spending the week book writing. Pray for inspiration and clarity from God as

well as the space he needs to concentrate.

13th (-20th July): Rich is spending a month in Thailand with Partners Relief and Development.

Pray that this time would be effective for the Kingdom of God.

14th: Viz-A-Viz Trustees Meeting. Pray that the meeting will go well and the right decisions will be

made.

15th: Arise Marketing Strategy Meeting at 11am. Also many of the team are involved in a Strategy

Meeting looking at evangelistic opportunities over the next year.

16th: Thank you God for the continual encouragement from our financial supporters.

17th: Please pray for Andy & Joy who are on the look-out now for musicians (bass/drums/guitar/

keyboards) to join the team in September.

18th: Ed celebrates his birthday. Pray for him and for his wife Emma and their children Ewan and

Evie.

Prayer Diary - June 2011

19th: Den is preaching at Benfleet Baptist Church.

20th-24th: Den is spending the week writing a new discipleship course. Pray for inspiration and

clarity from God as well as the space he needs to concentrate.

20th: The Junior SOLID Roadshow team are meeting to finalise the content. This year we’re

looking at making wise choices and the fact that Jesus gives us second chances.

21st: 2pm - Arise Trustees Meeting. Pray that the meeting will go well and the right decisions will

be made. Andy Keel celebrates his 21st Birthday. Pray for him and the development of

Viz-A-Viz Technical Solutions.

22nd: Ed, Laura and Andy K meet to think strategically about Children’s Ministry Conference next

February where Arise’s Easter resource ‘The Great Hot Cross Bun Hunt’ will be released.

23rd: Final technical preparations for SOLID including construction of lighting rigs.

24th: Please continue to pray for the financial needs of Viz-A-Viz Ministries and for those team

members who are raising part or all of their salary.

25th: The Leading Edge Directors are meeting to discuss the upcoming event in August.

26th: Taste are involved in a youth event in Finchampstead. Pray for the team and for the young

people who will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel.

27th: Thank you God for all the ministry opportunities we have and for all the work the churches

and organisations we are working with do on a day to day basis.

28th: Please pray for preparations for Liv’It Youth Camp at the end of July which Taste run the

programme for every year.

29th: Laura, Andy K and Taste are heading to Herne, Germany for some gigs and a meeting

about future events in the area.

30th: SOLID prayer evening 8pm at Legacy XS (SS7 5HF) - if you can make it please come and join

us, if not please pray with us wherever you are! Pray especially for the children and young

people who will be coming along to this years SOLID Festival.
