    Technology: Core Java, ISO 8583 protocol, Testharness. Tools: Eclipse, PED devices, POS machines. Functionality: This project was a superset of Apple Pay, and included all the background functionality required to process the payments using the custom applications on mobile phones, tablets, smart watches, which includes, but is not limited to Apples Apple Pay feature. Role: Modified the Payment System to allow the client to accept credit/debit card payments using mobile phones and other consumer devices and provided onsite help to the client to setup and go live with this feature. Postilion Electronic Fund Transfer Switch June 2013 July 2015 (Programming language: Java, Python | Backend: Microsoft SQL server) Technology: Java, Python, XML, SOAP messages, ISO-8583 protocol, Microsoft SQL server, proprietary frameworks. Tools: Perforce, Jira, Wireshark, Eclipse, Jenkins. Functionality: It handles all the ATM, online, mobile, credit card and debit card transactions in the background. Role: Developed and modified the EFT switch, using proprietary frameworks, to cater the customer needs. Many times it required direct communication with the customers as a technical consultant. Tools: SVN, Jira, Eclipse, Jenkins, Websphere, JBoss. Functionality: It is a corporate online banking suite which allows user to do different type of payments. Role: Developed new features in the product like new payment types, batch jobs etc. before a new version is released. ACADEMIC PROJECTS Stock prediction using twitter Used Python, Twitter API, Yahoo finance API and Machine learning related Python libraries to establish a connection between twitter sentiment and the stock value of a company. The system predicted the direction of the stock movement with 70% accuracy.
