Tucked amidst the pecan trees of a serene sanctuary in the Mogale City area, Vivari Spa exceeds all expectations of a luxurious spa journey, without losing the restorative essence of the spa philosophy.

OUR OFFERINGOur luxurious spa offers a fully equipped fit lab and a health food studio. All spa and hotel guests have full access to the hydrotherapy suite, which includes a steam room, an ice fountain, a heated vitality pool, and an infrared sauna cabin for relaxation and recovery. There is a relaxation area with a herbal tea station and complimentary refreshments to ensure that your body is nourished while your mind unwinds.

Vivari Spa has eight treatment rooms, four of which include their own private, tranquil bamboo gardens. We pride ourselves on the expertise and efficiency that we provide through our state-of-the-art medical equipment. These include a VISIA machine for expert consultation and personalised prescription of skin care treatments, a dermapen for microneedling, as well as chemical peels to treat fine lines and wrinkles.

We offer a complimentary body fat analysis and recommend VelaShape® II treatments to effectively treat cellulite and sagging skin.

Our elegant manicure and pedicure lounge, which overlooks the serene reflection ponds, offers a variety of nail services, from manicures and pedicures, to gel application.

SIGNATURE RITUALS We have created several signature rituals, each allowing you a completely unique experience. Centred around meditation, our signature treatments focus on deep interconnection between the mind and body, which, like in meditation, is realised through attention to the physical sensations.

TASTE OF VIVARI 60 min The Taste of Vivari begins with an introductory hand ritual, followed by your choice of massage, which includes Swedish, aromatherapy, or deep tissue, and incorporates the unique hot copper cup technique. The relaxing treatment ends with an express spa facial and our signature marble stone facial massage.

YIN 75 min Our transformative treatment begins with an active herbal scrub with sea salt, followed by a choice of contemplation oil to relax frazzled nerves, or stimulating zing oil to relieve a tired mind. We then wrap your body with a cooling body mask. As the cocoon cools, it soothes sensitive skin to complete your renewal and leave you feeling relieved and refreshed. The treatment ends with a relaxing scalp massage and a nourishing body butter.

YANG 90 minYang begins with an introductory hand ritual, followed by your choice of massage, which includes Swedish, aromatherapy, or deep tissue, and incorporates the unique hot copper cup technique. The treatment ends with a cold marble facial which targets pressure points on the face and leaves the skin invigorated.

ANANDA 120 minAnanda begins with an introductory hand ritual, followed by your choice of massage, which includes Swedish, aromatherapy, or deep tissue, and incorporates the unique hot copper cup technique. The treatment combines our signature Vivari facial which leaves the skin supple and smooth. This is a great treatment for tired skin and body.

SHANTI 75 minA nurturing ritual to induce deep relaxation and nourish the skin for pregnant and nursing mothers. It includes a hand ritual, followed by a full body exfoliation and a full body relaxing massage.

CLASSIC BODY RITUALSBACK, NECK AND SHOULDER 60 minRestore calm to mind and body with this renowned ‘hero’ treatment. Loved by all, this relaxing and deeply effective experience delivers triple results by focussing on three key areas, making it the ideal treatment for anyone.

FULL BODY SWEDISH MASSAGE 60 min / 90 minThe Swedish massage incorporates techniques that provide a sublime experience that is deeply effective, soothing and relaxing. This treatment includes passive and active joint movements with the assistance of the therapist. It utilises a firm or lighter pressure on the muscles, depending on the preference of the guest, used to increase blood flow, ease tension and improve flexibility. This massage targets toxins that are built up in the body, designed to calm the mind and energise the body.

FULL BODY HOT STONE MASSAGE 75 minHeated stones allow the therapist to work deeper into the muscles – the volcanic stones heat the body’s tissues and aid relaxation. This therapeutic full body massage uses aromatherapy oils and warm volcanic stones to relieve deep muscle tension with a firm to deep pressure.

SPA ETIQUETTEThe Vivari Spa environment is a place of calm and relaxation. We ask all guests to respect the quiet and privacy of other spa guests by speaking softly and kindly turning off mobile devices. If you would like to enjoy our vitality pool, a swimsuit is required.

ARRIVALWe request that our guests arrive 60 minutes prior to their scheduled spa treatments to allow time for a leisurely check-in and to begin your relaxation. The hydrotherapy suite is available to our guests to enjoy at an extra cost for the hour prior to your treatments.

Hotel guests are able to make use of the Vivari Spa facilities at their own leisure. We request that our guests adhere to their appointment times. Late arrivals will result in a shortened service due to time scheduling. To maintain the serenity of the environment, we request that guests kindly turn their mobile devices onto silent mode upon arrival.

CANCELLATION We request that guests cancel within a 24-hour notice period in order to avoid being charged for the full-service amount.

LOCKERS Lockers are available for our guests’ convenience. Vivari Spa will not be held liable for any loss or damages.

GRATUITYAdditional gratuities are at our guests’ discretion.

MEALS Please order from the spa menu available in the health food studio.

AGE REQUIREMENTSVivari Spa guests must be 16 years and over to enjoy our treatments and facilities without supervision. Guests under the age of 16 are required to be accompanied by an adult at all times. Specialised services are available for children.

DRESS CODEPlease dress comfortably to enjoy your Vivari Spa experience. Comfortable slippers and a robe are available in the spa.

MEDICAL CONCERNSWe respect the health of our guests. If you have a medical condition, we ask that you consult your physician prior to receiving any spa treatments. We request that our pregnant guests must be past their thirteenth week of pregnancy in order to receive certain spa treatments.

GIFT CARDSGift cards are available for all Vivari Spa products, services and spa packages, and can be purchased at Vivari Spa. If you are using a gift card as payment for your treatment, please have the number handy when booking, as this will secure your booking, and be sure to present it at time of check-in.
