VISUALIZATION OF THE INTERNET THROUGH 3D VIEWER

THE FUTURE OF THE WORLD OF INFORMATION THE WAY HOW I SEE IT

BASIC IDEA• Basic idea is that every “information carrier”, meaning basic

internet adress (as well as other “information carriers” meaning titles in: world of books (book`s title), world of music, movies, world of video games, world of computer programs, profiles of social networks, world of apps etc) should be given a virtual shape in sense of 3D column, a “building” which we are putting into virtual space creating a landscape through which we would be able to surf around using zooming possibility and other navigation tools.

• This way we would be able to see an entire Internet on one plane as well as other areas of interest such as world of books etc

• All this would be presented inside 3D viewer

An example of few such “buildings”:

• Every building as a carrier of it`s own Internet adress is placed randomly in a carrying grid with it`s horizontals and verticals which we will call “avenues” and “streets”.

• So the first interface brings to us all major search engines with it`s services because 3D viewer is imagined as a supplement to exting way of search via keywords (it`s not excluded that a team who would develop this adds their own search engine as major one)

• 3D viewer carries within itself an international and domestic level of Internet not dividing them strictly meaning a site can be found in one or another level or on both at the same time

• International level is marked by english language and by extensions such as .com, .net, .biz etc

• Domestic level is marked by, of course, domestic language of a user and extensions such as .hr, .me and others

• Every area on the Internet plain is colored in different colors making it easy to us to find an area of interest (eg blue – technological sector, green – sports sector etc)

• Beside visualization of the Internet project as an important item brings unification of information retrieval and social contacts

• So user sees which site has visitors and how many of them. Then he can decide whether he wants to communicate with and how much of them

• Of course, he can communicate only if he`s logged in via some of exting accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, gmail, hotmail etc

Energy saving mode

• The important item vould be “energy saving mode” which would allow us to save energy in two ways: first one is to darken the screen in half (like on cellphone) leaving us readable and adjustable area around mouse position, second one is to totally darken the screen.

• So, this is my vision of how the Internet (and world of information in general) should look like in the future.

• The idea to make the Internet as a playground itself, to be able to surf it through like in some videogame seeing where is what and who in the entire Internet (and more) is certainly greatest idea that can be found in the virtual world
