Originally I am from the small city of St. John’s, Newfoundland on the East coast of Canada.

When trying to decide what I wanted to do with my life, I became addicted to reading.

I decided to transfer to Concordia University for the English Literature program in Montreal, Quebec.

This program combines my love of reading with the ability to think critically and analytically, and prepares me for the professional workplace.

I soon learned about the professional writing minor and jumped at the opportunity to enroll.

Not only has this program helped improve my writing skills, it helped me discover a passion for writing and the English language as a whole.
