Greetings, Well, summer is in full swing and so are the summer projects! So far, we have replaced 5 bad water valves throughout the resort and repaired some safety concerns over the canopy at the west entrance to the main building complex. Several streets have been crack-sealed and seal-coated without incident. In that regard, I would like to thank residents Dal Childress and Pete Peterson for their hard work of overseeing that extremely hot project. Several shuffleboard courts are being resurfaced, and the west tennis court was replaced with a brand new, post-tensioned court, as was the east court 4 years ago. The pool decking has been resurfaced and repainted and looks outstanding! A new metal roof was installed on building D which houses the fitness center, pool shower rooms, and the Apache room. A new sidewalk is scheduled to be installed soon on Golden Vista property on Base- line from Rancho Mirage to the west of us, all the way to the corner of Goldfield and Baseline. This will be such a nice addition to the resort. Palm tree trimming is finishing up and its completion will allow us to clean the streets properly and get the resort looking great again. Much painting is being done by maintenance staff and the Resort will look great when you return! These are some but not all of the projects demanding our attention this summer. It’s busy and hot; but just like a blow torch, it’s a dry heat, thank goodness! Take care and enjoy your summer! Jeff Elkins, Resort Manager VISTA VIEWS SUMMER EDITION 2017

Greetings,

Well, summer is in full swing and so are the summer projects! So far, we have

replaced 5 bad water valves throughout the resort and repaired some safety

concerns over the canopy at the west entrance to the main building complex.

Several streets have been crack-sealed and seal-coated without incident. In

that regard, I would like to thank residents Dal Childress and Pete Peterson for their hard work of

overseeing that extremely hot project.

Several shuffleboard courts are being resurfaced, and the west tennis court was replaced with a brand

new, post-tensioned court, as was the east court 4 years ago. The pool decking has been

resurfaced and repainted and looks outstanding!

A new metal roof was installed on building D which houses the fitness center, pool shower rooms, and

the Apache room. A new sidewalk is scheduled to be installed soon on Golden Vista property on Base-

line from Rancho Mirage to the west of us, all the way to the corner of Goldfield and

Baseline. This will be such a nice addition to the resort.

Palm tree trimming is finishing up and its completion will allow us to clean the streets properly and get

the resort looking great again. Much painting is being done by maintenance staff and the Resort

will look great when you return! These are some but not all of the projects demanding our attention this

summer. It’s busy and hot; but just like a blow torch, it’s a dry heat, thank goodness!

Take care and enjoy your summer! Jeff Elkins, Resort Manager
