Aims of the 3rd meeting- Main topic of the meeting: Learning content- Overview of IOs done already- Fine-tuning online teacher training platform- Overview the activities and completed tasks of the research phase, analyze and

evaluate the results. The main question to answer is, how to utilize the results of the needs-analysis in during the next outcomes (Flip-IT syllabus, course content, online platform).

Welcome words by Mr. Jan Kriz, Vice-Rector for Strategy and Development of the University of Hradec Králové and Ms. Daniela Vrabcova, Vice-Dean for International Affairs of the Faculty of Education of the University of Hradec Králové.Conference opening by Project Leader Maria Hartyányi and Vera Tauchmanova from the side of the hosting organization UHK.

Maria went over the agenda for the day and indicated the need to help summarize the findings of the day’s proceedings, and described the events which have taken part so far during the project. Maria described the products which have been developed so far during the project as well. Stated that IFES (P3) leaved the project because of acquisition. Task of IFES was divided between UEM & ITS.

Presentation of a publication made from O1 results – Martina presented and commented on the results from a POV of problem based learning, noting that terminology and other variables should be considered in looking at the results.

Closing O1 by Maite Villalba where she raised the question of how to close the intellectual outcome and asked to develop an excel file to outline some key deliverables and dates.

Ken Currie gives a general overview of O2: the FC curriculum for VET Teachers going through o2-a1_cf_final-sep16.docx and explains the decision behind selecting the Microsoft or European frameworks. Finally deciding against the Microsoft structure, with doubts regarding the European framework. The structure builds down to Specialization > Skill > Competency

Hungarian VET teacher Ildiko Babócsy (Számalk) presents their work with FC, starting with photographs of their sessions. They explain how they used FC methodology to train and explain FC methodology to teachers of their center, then proceeded to speak of the multiplier event they had organized for further dissemination, and continued with a presentation on the preparation of their FC oriented syllabus.

1st module presentation by Shane Cronin, who commences introducing Google slides (goo.gl/slides/ht9vm8) as a useful FC tool, then went on to introduce the Diverse Learners Concept and proceeded to present an overview of the first modules. Maria closed the intervention asking Shane to upload a lesson plan to use as a guide for future planning.

Presenting learning content by János Szabó, original syllabus filled up with content by Silvia Töreky, after presenting the content we discussed the how to manage the content on the learning platform.

Babócsy Ildikó showed an example video she created for the students in psychology and pedagogy about games.

Maria Hartyányi showed the flip it portal fcr.itstudy.hu to the participants, where a huge amount of educational terms explained, some represented in pictures for teachers less experienced in ICT.

9:00 Zsolt Lengyel (ITS) demonstrates the use of HTML 5 for Teacher presentations and content.

9:25 Maria talked about the Pedagogical Model, action: to help to fill in definitions and benefits of this model.

Preparing for the Interim Report: Originally there were 10 partners, including 2 from ES. IFES no longer around. Their tasks will transfer to UEM (pilot) and ITS (content development and quality management). The contracts will be modified accordingly and permission sought from the HU NA. Action: ITS to approach the HU NA. Report to be submitted by end June, deadline of 16th June for all documents to iTStudy!

Decision about place of next meeting: Cork (Ireland) on 19-20 October 2017

Administrative issues: Dissemination questions and proposals by János Szabó (ITS). Suggestion: use more electronic tools, as Facebook, Twitter, etc. Newsletters. Main evaluation will be based at the end, but we need external evaluation. The Czech University will organize an extra external evaluator.

Pilot, to understand the details. It should be completed before April 2018, at least 50 teachers, external trainers and all kind of schools, primary and secondary as well. Results to be publish on country and international level by Számalk and UEM, on primary schools by UHK & ITS.
