Square DancingOn July 14th the Field house was overtaken by Square Dancing Pattie. She combined teaching different moves with dancing and everyone had a great time! The campers even dressed in their best country-western clothes complete with boots, braids, and tons of plaid. Lower camp danced first and then upper camp danced the night away. There was even time for the Cha-Cha slide at the end of the evening; which was a great way to end the event!

ElectionalityIt was another competitive year for Camp President! The campaign for president grew heated as the candidates gave incredibly convincing campaign speeches in the mess hall. Spencer Zelin and Courtney Breit, Charlie Wyetzner and Allie Chaikin, Margo Fleishman and Adam Kamp, along with Mallory Edelman and Jake Feuerman all made promises for the return of chicken patties. In the end it came down to a close race between Charlie-Chaikin and Margo-Adam. The final resulting votes declared the next camp presidents Charlie and Chaikin! Congratulations to everyone who ran and to all the bunks for such creative states!

Little Shop of HorrorThe Seniors, Dorm, and Club presented their version of Little Shop of Horrors with the help of Drama Nick and Ira on piano. The dramatic musical-comedy featured stunning performances from Griffin Unger, Brett Seiden, and James Dolgin in the shared role of Seymour along with Nikki Gold and Elana Naimi in a shared role as Audrey. Little Shop of Horror was a great showing of Towanda’s theatrical talents! Everyone did a great job!

Girls’ SingThis year’s Girls’ Sing

was a night like no other! The Debs wore their finest

donuts, the Tweens and Juniors were full of Glee,

Inters and Nats flew us to space, the Seniors got our engines roaring and the Dorm proved that This is It!

The cheers were fantastic and songs were amazing and everyone did a great job! Congrats to the Debs and Dillies for taking the crown followed closely

by Dorm!

Camp Towanda was carried over the rainbow by the Debs, Dillies, Jets and Cadets performance of The Wizard of Oz. From the costumes, to scenery, sound effects and makeup, the performace was spectacular! Dorothy, played by Amanda Goldwasser, along with Toto, played by Jessie Horowitz made friends with a Scarecrow (Carson Hechler), a Tin Man (Matt Gutkin) and a cowardly Lion (Carson Hechler) on their journey to get back to Kansas! Everyone did a fantastic job!

The Wizard of Oz

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE WITH CAMPERS. THANK YOU.
