Made in the USAUnlike an increasing number of low-cost,

sub-standard, foreign leather goods, the CCi

Leather Products program proudly offers

exceptional quality leather merchandise

hand-crafted in the USA. With annual gross

sales of $750,000, we support our nation’s

economy by sourcing all our raw leather right

here in the USA, and providing local retailers

with outstanding products for resale.

Custom WorkWhether you’re looking for a saddle, tack, or a

unique gift, we provide a variety of custom products

at an outstanding price.

• Custom and economy saddles

• Headstalls, reins, breast collars and saddle bags

• Belts and spur straps

• Checkbook covers, wallets, purses

and writing tablets

• Dog leashes and collars

• Coasters, key chains and more

Saddling UpLeather production is not easy and takes considerable

effort to do well. Whether a worker is hand-cutting a

saddle or floral-stamping a purse, the skills required

take dedication to master.

Some of the expertise acquired includes:

• Hand-cutting saddle and tack pieces

• Basket stamping and floral carving

• Leather molding and casing

• Leather dying and burnishing

• Hand- or machine-stitching

• Applying finishes, stains and oils

Back in the SaddleThe product of a successful 25-year partnership

with a popular retailer, CCi’s leather shop is

located at the Buena Vista Correctional Facility.

Employing over 30 offender workers, the 7,000

square-foot facility produces over half a million

dollars worth of saddles and tack each year for

high-end companies and the U.S. Border Patrol.

One of our PIECP programs, CCi’s Leather

Products program employs offenders in a

realistic work environment and pays prevailing

wages when goods are sold over state lines.

We’re committed to teaching marketable skills

that not only increase an offender’s potential for

meaningful employment upon release, but have

a proven record of reducing recidivism as well.

Offering offenders the opportunity to learn a

valuable trade in a team environment, leather

work is one of the most sought-after work

opportunities. Only the most highly-qualified

are considered and rigorous requirements for

retaining the position are adhered to.

Partnering with CCiIf you have a need for skilled labor or would like

to suggest a partnership with CCi, please call

(719) 395-7262 or visit www.coloradoci.com.
