Critical thinking empowers 21st century learners to assess the credibility, accuracy and value of information, analyze and evaluate information, make reasoned decisions and take purposeful action.
21st century learners need to take action on their own. They need to learn independently and search for their own answers.
We need to provide learners with a free-risk learning environment so that they will feel confident enough to try new things.
The challenges 21st century learners face don’t come in a multiple-choice format and typically don’t have a single right answer. They are expected to identify problems, think through solutions and alternatives, and explore new options and approaches.
21st century learners are world citizens. They are expected to work, interact and collaborate routinely and effectively with teams of people from a different cultural background, geographic setting and language. They need to show respect for diversity, and acceptance of difference will be essential for their success.
21st century learners’ ability to work imaginatively is going to be so decisive in driving their future and the standard of living of their country. So, we need to empower, nurture, enable their imagination with enough tools and experiences to become achievers.
21st century learners need to be exposed to sharing information, working cooperatively on projects, and exploring attitudes, opinions, and beliefs through group processes.
We need to provide 21st century learners with strong communication skills. They need to use those skills to communicate their ideas effectively when interacting with others in their daily life and in their future jobs.
We feel committed to provide our learners with enough opportunities to develop their communicative, critical thinking and collaborative skills needed for 21st century citizens. Besides, they need to stress on their values to accept and celebrate others’ perspectives and promote peace and understanding.
