- Go to SEJONGNO IMMIGRATION OFFICE regardless of your place of residency

It is MANDATORY for you to change your current D-4 visa to a student visa (D-2) BEFORE the beginning of the semester (2019.09.02)

After the application for Alien Registration is successfully approved, the “Certificate of Application for Permit of Stay” will be given by the immigration officer

DO NOT LEAVE KOREA before the application process is successfully Date of ARC Pick-up

completed, with the actual Alien Registration Card (ARC) being issued.

Otherwise, your ARC application & student visa (D-2) will be terminated

automatically as soon as the departure is made.

※International students with a student visa (D-2) MUST finish their study within the valid period of student visa (D-2) permitted by the immigration office of Korea

-General period of study given for the course

-Students can graduate within the duration ofcoursework by completing all the requirements for completion and degree dissertation/thesis for graduation

-Maximum length of study available for graduation set by Korea University

* Studentvisa (D-2) is validonly whenthe student is registered & physically in KoreaIf a completed-researchstudent takes a leaveof absence,his/herstudentvisa (D-2)willbe expired and not issued again regardless of the expiry datewritten on theback of their Alien Registration Card (ARC)

The student must make a departure within 15 days regardless of the valid period of stay written on the back of their ARC
