F-type visa holders must submit : Arrival Report and 1 copy of front & back sides of Alien Registration Card(or Resident Card)
If your passport information has changed from the one submitted during admission, submit 1 copy of passport ID page (the page with your photo) additionally

1. Application form, passport, ARC (if applicable), and 130,000 KRW in cash
2. Certificate of Admission (CoA)

4. Certificate of Registration *After semester begins : Certificate of Enrollment
(visit One-Stop Service Center)
5. Tuberculosis Test Certificate (applicable to the students who never submitted after 2016.3.2)
6. Final Academic Credentials
8. Certificate of Completion from Korean language center(w/ attendance rate)
9. Invitation Letter from NIIED (KGSP)

*Students with F, A, or E type of visa do not have to change their visa

Period: ~Sep 2, 2019 (before the semester begins)
Reminder:
- Make an ONLINE RESERVATION FIRST before visiting the immigration office
- Go to SEJONGNO IMMIGRATION OFFICE regardless of your place of residency
It is MANDATORY for you to change your current D-4 visa to a student visa (D-2) BEFORE the beginning of the semester (2019.09.02)

After the application for Alien Registration is successfully approved, the “Certificate of Application for Permit of Stay” will be given by the immigration officer

After the application for Alien Registration is successfully approved, the “Certificate of Application for Permit of Stay” will be given by the immigration officer
DO NOT LEAVE KOREA before the application process is successfully Date of ARC Pick-up
completed, with the actual Alien Registration Card (ARC) being issued.
Otherwise, your ARC application & student visa (D-2) will be terminated
automatically as soon as the departure is made.

-Student’s own bank account in Korea with 2,250,000KRW/ 6months extension -Student’s own bank account in Korea with 4,500,000KRW/ 1year extension

5. Proof of Residency
6. Tuberculosis Test Certificate (if applicable)
You can apply for ARC extension 4 months before the expiry date written on the back of your ARC
Students within general given period of registration for completion (vary by major)
Students doing COURSEWORK
International students are under the restriction of their ARC (expiry date written on the back) and can study in Korea within the period approved by the immigration office * Result of permission for ARC extension may vary by individual

Students who have not finished degree dissertation for graduation
Completed-Research Students
All international completed-research students must do the following in order to keep their student visa (D-2) valid and to continue to study in Korea: 1. Registration during the Regular Payment Period (Feb/Aug) every semester
*before the semester begins

International students with a student visa (D-2) MUST finish their study within the valid period of student visa (D-2) permitted by the immigration office of Korea
Duration of Coursework
-General period of study given for the course
-Students can graduate within the duration of coursework by completing all the requirements for completion and degree dissertation/thesis for graduation
Length of Studentship
-Maximum length of study available for graduation set by Korea University
Maximum Valid Period for Student Visa (D-2)
-Maximum period available for ARC extension & possessing student visa (D-2) set by the immigration office
If Your Passport Information Changes

*If the contract is not under the applicant's name, it is mandatory for the student to submit a copy of the accommodation provider’s ID card & ‘Confirmation of Residence/Accommodation’
