Virtual POS for Large Companies.

If your business has a high turnover, here you have the technical, operational and security solutions and specialised support that come up to your requirements.

Because it delivers full integration of your store’s server and/or application with the payment process.

In this case the buyer is not redirected to the BBVA server and always stays on the store website. Your store manages the entire purchasing process with the advantages that entails for the buyer’s interaction with your website.

Plus you have a whole series of advanced management modules that you can implement in the POS and connect with your management applications (SAP, ERP, etc.).

Virtual POS via IPSP (Internet Payment Service Provider).

What you can do with the BBVA Virtual POS.The BBVA Virtual POS can perform the following transactions:

Regular payments: enables the cardholder to sign up to a service offered by the store. The total cost of this service will be paid in a specified number of instalments.

Pre-authorisations: it is a hold, not a charge, for at most 7 days on the cardholder’s account until the exact amount of the purchase is confirmed. This pre-authorisation means the store can be sure it will collect the amount held.

Authentications: similar to a pre-authorisation but instead of holding the amount only the cardholder’s identity is checked.

Total or partial chargebacks: when a business wants to give a customer a total or partial refund of a payment they have already made, the Virtual POS finds the initial transaction and reimburses the cardholder.

Features of the BBVA Virtual POS.

Multilanguage screens: the POS screens and messages generated during a transaction can be in Spanish, English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Swedish, Portuguese, Polish, Valencian, Galician, Basque and Danish.

D.C.C.: the Virtual POS enables customers worldwide to pay in their own currency or in euro. The customer can choose to pay for their purchase in their own currency or in euro after the Virtual POS shows them the conversion. The business or company will receive payment in euro regardless of the currency in which the customer has paid.

Multi-currency: this BBVA Virtual POS feature means your customers can buy in their local currency.

The currencies available for this service are the US dollar, Canadian dollar, pound sterling, yen, Argentine austral, Chilean peso, Colombian peso, Indian rupee, Mexican peso, Peruvian sol, Swiss franc, Brazilian real, Venezuelan bolivars and Turkish lira.

It accepts credit, debit, prepaid and virtual cards:

Payment by Reference: means your regular shoppers don’t have to enter their card details for every purchase and helps with sales on mobile devices.

This service reduces payment process time and enhances your customer’s shopping experience.

How does it work? The store can use this system to

carry out a number of associated payments by the same cardholder without storing their card details.

Sensitive card data are stored on a secure server not connected with the store which means it does not have to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

Adapted to all mobile devices (smartphones and tablets): with the BBVA Virtual POS your customers can shop using any mobile device because all its screens are tailored to these devices.
