Top Drawer 24

The Top Drawer 24 is an elite student-athlete team selected by The Odessa File each May. This is the 13th year honoring the "best of the best" in our area. The team is comprised of athletes from 14 area schools and is selected by a committee in conjunction with the Odessa File news media outlet and WENY. Candidates must excel in the fields of academics and athletics and be of the highest integrity. The team is open to grades 9-12, but usually is made up of juniors and seniors. Once the team is selected, they are featured in a story on the Odessa File. Traditionally they are recognized at a ceremony in May or June, but unfortunately this year, the ceremony was cancelled due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. We’re so very proud of these outstanding student-athletes.

Our 2020 Top Drawer 24 student-athletes are seniors Jillian Casey, Tess Cites, Henry Juan, Abigail Packard, Avery Snyder, and junior Sophia Verkleeren.
