• Touchdown at Ben Gurion International Airport.
• Before clearing passport control a VIPISRAEL representative will be waiting to welcome
you at the door of your plane as you exit the plane. You will be transported quickly through
the airport, pass immigration at the flight crew counter where passport control is efficiently
expedited and continue to facilitate luggage identification and handling; & escort you
through customs.
• Ascend to Jerusalem & Check into your hotel to freshen up and relax.

• After breakfast, meet your guide and start your day with tour the amazing City of King
David.
• Begin with a breathtaking observation overlooking Biblical Jerusalem and observe over 3,800
years of history dating back in time to the days of Abraham, when the first foundations of
the city were laid.
• The journey quickly heads underground to some of the newest archaeological
excavations at the site. Here, while exploring the recently excavated fortresses and
passageways, you will relive King David's conquest of the Jebusite city as described in
the 2nd Book of Samuel.
• Enter the Old City walls and start at the Davidson Center – the newly opened visitors’
center, located at the Jerusalem Archaeological Park.
• Tour the Southern Wall Excavations where some of the most important archaeological
discoveries have been unearthed, proving this to be one of the key areas of Jerusalem.
Amongst these remains is a complex of royal palaces dating back to the 7th century.
• Descend to tour of the archaeological discoveries excavated in the Western Wall Tunnels.
Inside, a most interesting model shows the different dwelling periods and history of the
inhabitants of Jerusalem. Stand on the site believed to be the nearest spot to the "Holy of
Holies". (Pending availability)
• See the Temple Institute which houses a collection of artifacts from the First and Second
Temple Periods.

• After breakfast, depart in an armored vehicle to the holy city of Chevron, visit Ma’arat
Hamachpela where our patriarchs and matriarchs are buried: Avraham, Yitzchak, Yaakov
and their wives. Tradition also holds this to be the burial place of ‘Adam & Eve.’
• Meet some of the very special families who live in this special neighborhood & Rabbi
Danni Cohen, the Chabad Rabbi of Chevron.
• Return to Jerusalem, and spend the rest of your afternoon at leisure. Jerusalem is full of
amazing shops, cafes, & boutiques. As well, local artists display their work throughout
the city. Take some time to explore Jerusalem or relax at your hotel.
• You may also like to take a walk down Ben Yehuda Street, one the favorite gathering
places for many young Jerusalemites. There are many artists displaying their jewelry and
crafts, as well as many wonderful sidewalk cafes.

• After breakfast, check out of your hotel and head up north.
• Tour the ancient, magnificently excavated city of Tzippori, home to Rabbi Yehuda Hanasi.
This city did not participate in the rebellion against the Romans, and hence was not
destroyed. See an ancient theatre and a villa with a beautiful mosaic floor and other finds
from the time of the Mishna.
• Walk through the amazing ancient conduit, which brought water to the city.
• Visit a 4,500 seat Roman theatre, the Nile Mosaic building, and the giant underground
waterworks.
• Visit the Holy resting places of sages such as Rambam, Rabbi Meir Baal HaNess, Rabbi
Akiva and others.
• You might like to enjoy dinner at the Deck’s Restaurant in Tiberius.

• After breakfast, travel to Amukah, to visit the grave of Yonathan Ben Uziel, was one of
the 80 Tannaim who studied under Hillel the Elder. He is also said to have written a book of
Kabbalah known as Megadnim. Traditionally those who are unmarried visit this location in
order to be granted blessings in his honor and in his merit find a marriage partner.
• Visit Mount Meron, the second highest mountain in Israel and largest nature reserve in the
Galilee. Hike to the peak for an amazing view, perfect for sunsets. This mountain is also
the resting place of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, author of the Zohar, a fundamental kabalistic
work.
• Stop by Tzfat’s famous candle shop and visit art and sculpture galleries.
WELCOME THE SHABBAT IN THE HOLY CITY OF TZFAT
• As the sun sets preparations will be made for welcoming the Shabbat
• Enjoy Shabbat Dinner & Chassidic Farbrengen at the Ascent of Tzfat, the center for
Jewish Mysticism in Tzfat and the Galilee. You will enjoy the relaxing atmosphere in the
enclosed courtyards, shaded by canopies of grape vines and take in a fantastic view from the
roof overlooking Mount Meron and the Galillean Hills.

• Visit Tzfat's restored Old City winding, cobblestone streets and take a dip in the famous
Mikveh of the Ari z"l in the mystical city.
• See the unique synagogues such as the Ari Sephardi, Ari Ashkenazi, Ari Beit Midrash,
Caro Synagogue, Abuhav synagogue (built in 1490) and many more of the local Chassidim.
• Enjoy Shabat Lunch led by your rabbi at Ascent of Tzfat.
• After Havdallah, enjoy your evening at leisure, strolling through the atmospheric alleys and
enjoying a pizza or other snacks.

• After breakfast, check out of your hotel and head to the City of Katzrin which was one of
the first urban settlements in the Golan.
• In Katzrin, see a fascinating audio-visual presentation describing the history of the Golan
throughout the ages & tour the ancient reconstructed Talmudic Village and a partially
restored 1,500-year-old synagogue.
• At the Golan Magic Welcome Center in Katzrin, view a colorful accurate model of the
Golan Heights, one of a kind in Israel. The model uses unique lighting effects that run
along the streams, canyons and settlements of the Golan Heights.
• Enjoy wine tasting at the Golan Heights winery.
• Drive out to the observation point on Mount Bental, an abandoned Israeli bunker
overlooking the entire Golan Heights. From here you can see the mountains of the
Galilee and Lebanon, and eastward into Syria.
• Here also lies the Valley of Tears, where one of the bloodiest battles of the Yom Kippur
War was fought.
• Ascend towards Jerusalem.

• After breakfast depart to the Dead Sea area traveling south through the Judean Wilderness.
• Arrive at Masada - Ascend the cliff top fortress by cable car, or for the more daring, ascend
the snake path just as the Jews did thousands of years ago.
• Explore the ancient remains of the fortifications, King Herod's palace, storerooms and
baths.
• Take in the beauty of the natural Ein Gedi Waterfall; take a light hike along a waterfall
oasis, whose beauty exudes vibrant hues of green, red, blue and yellow, a small slice of
heaven.
• Enjoy packed lunchbox.
• Continue along the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, and a rich source of minerals for
export.
• Take a swim or ‘float’ & let the buoyant waters support you as you relax on your back and
think of nothing else but the sea and the salt all around you!

•• After breakfast, visit the new Yad Vashem Museum, which was completed in the spring of
2005, a memorial to the six million innocent victims of the Holocaust.
•• Located on Har Hazikaron, the Mount of Remembrance, in Jerusalem, Yad Vashem is a
vast, sprawling complex of tree-studded walkways leading to museums, exhibits, archives,
monuments, sculptures, and memorials. (Children under 10 years of age not permitted
entrance)
•• Enjoy a tour of the neighborhood streets of Meah Shearim, Yemin Moshe, and the
German Colony to see Jerusalem’s oldest & most unique neighborhoods.
•• Visit Kfar Chabad and take pride in the wonderful work done there with the Children of
Chernobyl, rescued from that contaminated Russian city; tour the etrog orchid and dairy
farm.
•• Be inspired by the Israeli replica of “770” and enjoy farewell dinner at the Kfar Chabad
Restaurant.
•• Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for the departure flight home where you will be met by a
VIPISRAEL representative will be waiting to assist you in your temporary departure from
Israel.
