    Designing a pump for industrial purpose and purifier for polluted water based on the concept of Paper microfluidics. Developing a purifier so that muddy water can be used for household purpose and power consumption will be very

    low as compared to normal purifier. This is based on the same technique that tree uses for its daily activity. Duration: August 2013 to Present

    Virtualization of thermodynamic lab (From: April 13 to June 13)Guide:Dr. Ramgopal Uppaluri, Professor, IIT Guwahati

    Software: - Matlab, Lab View, Microsoft Excel Made a Simulator for the experiment Separating and Throttling Calorimeter using Lab View. After noting down the data I analyzed the output data in terms of input data and Simulated using Lab View. Motive of this project was to help student who dont have access to these costly equipment. It was a funded project

    by MHRD (Ministry of human resources and development) which would cater to students at the undergraduatelevel, Post graduate level as well as Research scholar.

    Study about thermodynamic properties of pure substance (From: October 12 to November 12)Guide: - Dr. Amit Kumar, Asst. Professor, IIT Guwahati

    Software: - Matlab Studied about behavior and pattern that any particular pure substances follow w.r.t. temperature and pressure. Here thermodynamic properties includes Enthalpy, Entropy and Gibbs free energy. Includes basic knowledge about Matlab.

    Mini Project

    Design of Spray Dryer: - Designed a spray dryer that can dry up to 98% and presented a Term project under Dr. AshokKumar Das Mahapatra. (From: August 2013 to November 2013)

    Energy loss in Pipes and bends: - Worked on the energy losses in fluids during flow through pipes, various bends and crosssections under Dr. Dipankar Bandopadhyay.

    Modeling External Compressible Flow: - computed the turbulent flow past a transonic airfoil at a nonzero angle of attackbyusing spalart Allamrus Model (Computational Fluid Dynamics).
