Data Center Collocation space is located in our new build Datacenter in the industrial area of Kragujevac. The facility fulfils in most of the cases the requirements of a Tier III geo-redundant Data Centre. The Data Center has two independent fiber entries, as well as diverse national and international fiber connections, wit possibility of creation of redundant paths and independent internet upstream connection towards Telekom Austria and other partners. The data center is also offering MW connectivity as a 3rd connectivity backup solution if the request is to provide the backup via other transmission medium. In terms of environmental connectivity the data Center has two independent power lines. Each line is connected to an own transformer station serving one MW of electricity. The data Center has a N+1 Cooling system, a failover UPS system N+N plus and N+1 and a diesel generator in configuration N+1. In terms of surveillance the Data Center offers a full coverage video surveillance and on site security as well as access control system to all rooms. Authorized staff providing physical & technical surveillance is present at location 24x7. All systems are connected to a secured building management solution with is monitoring all essential systems for cooling, power production, and fire suppression systems.

The facility has been built in 2012, located in industrial zone of Kragujevac.

Figure 3.1 – 3.2: Facility from the outside Total area of the object is app. 1,500 sqm. Ground floor is intended for Vip mobile network equipment, and the telehousing room is on the first floor. The facility has security fence, parking, space for loading and unloading of equipment, as well as the freight elevator. Optionally, we can offer a space for storage.

Server room area is app. 200 sqm. Optionally, a cage could be provided, if required.

The space is organized in cold compartments meaning the always 2 rows are joined and closed as cold compartment to ensure an effaced use of the cooling system.

Power cables are separated from telecommunications cables. In addition to this rack space we have foreseen and technical operations room for engineers who have to work onsite (permanent or temporary).

Duplicated supply of normal power from the local power supplier (from two separate main distribution systems), high voltage connection, 2 redundant transformers 1000kVA each combined with local stand-by power supply – diesel generators in N+1 redundancy principle – 3 generators, 800kVA each (500kVA according to Ratel). Stand-by power is fed to UPS, ventilation and cooling equipment, security systems, part of general consumers, part of lighting installation etc. Start-up time following a detected supply failure (normal supply) is 15s. Upon restoration of grid supply, the generator shall continue to run long enough to ensure that the grid supply is stable. No detectable voltage fluctuation shall occur on switching from generator operation to grid operation. For all equipment in server rooms, Uninterruptible Power Supply is provided, designed capacity 2000VA/m2.

UPS units: 2 centralized UPS units, 600kVA each, N+N redundancy principle. UPS units are “on-line” type with double conversion, providing continuous UPS power and with no switching time in the event of supply grid failure. Battery capacity – 20 minutes. UPS is equipped with manual bypass switching between normal and bypass power supply (to enable service and maintenance). The UPS is also equipped with static bypass for automatic overriding of the UPS in the event of extreme overloading and short-circuiting. Valve-regulated lead-acid batteries are used. Batteries are arranged in N+N system. UPS units are equipped with an Ethernet interface for monitoring and control. Main distribution panels for normal, standby and uninterruptible power supplies are in separate cabinets. The consumers in server rooms have their own secondary distribution systems supplied directly from the building’s main distribution system. Earthling – dedicated mesh earth bonding network is created, which provides the same earth potential for the entire room and effective protection against HF noise.

Dynamic free cooling system is implemented. The cold air is led through the double bottom from ground to ceiling. The technical surface is built of cold and hot corridors. Cold air is blown in over the double floor and drawn through the front door of the racks and the equipment. Hot air is blown out of the backside of the rack to the hot corridor, where it is evacuated. There are no ventilation plates in the hot corridor, so admixing of cold and hot air is avoided and the use of cold air is optimized. The entire refrigeration technology for all technical surfaces is implemented redundantly, with N+1 principle. Cooling capacity – 1000W/m2 (ambient temperature of 22ºC measured at 1,50m height). Relative Air humidity – 45%.

7. 7. 7. 7. Fire protectionFire protectionFire protectionFire protection Early detection system is implemented. All rooms are equipped with smoke detectors connected to automatic addressable fire alarm system to enable registration of smoke generation/fire and alarm activation:

� Aspirating system for server rooms � Highly sensitive point detectors for technical rooms � Standard point detectors for offices, storage rooms

Fire extinguishing systems with FM200 gas (with good extinguishing properties, causing the minimum overall damage) for server rooms and technical rooms.

National transport network includes diverse optical lines connecting all major cities in the Republic of Serbia, with possibility to offer redundant paths. As an additional possibility for backup service, we can offer microwave links, which could be very important in cases when backup service is required via different transmission medium. Services within the cities could be provided via our optical metro networks or via microwave links.

In addition, Vip mobile can offer internet upstream service in data center. Telekom Austria Group cooperates with 5 Tier 1 Upstream providers:

� Level3, � TeliaSonera, � Telekom Italia Sparkle, � Inteliquent , � DTAG.

Telekom Austrija Gruop provides 800+ peerings on four international peering locations:

� Vienna Internet eXchange (VIX): two locations in Vienna (Interxion, University of Vienna)

� Amsterdam Internet eXchange (AMSIX) � Deutscher Commercial Internet eXchange (DECIX) � London Internet eXchange (LINX).

Additionally, we have a direct peering with Google in Frankfurt/Germany and Budapest/Hungary and we will be offering the Google Global Cache Solution as well in near future.

The Facility is fully monitored (inside and outside) with a video surveillance system covering all areas inside (hallways and rooms) and outside. The facility has a state of the art access control system with specific access classes dependent of the needs and is fully guarded with a 24/7 security onsite.

Building Management System for monitoring and management of:

� electrical system and equipment – high voltage equipment, transformers status, switchgears in low voltage distribution, overvoltage protection, generators (switching, monitoring, measure), reactive power compensation equipment – monitoring and measuring, lighting installation, UPS units – monitoring and measuring,

� security, � air-conditioning – chillers, chambers – monitoring of work statuses, alarms,

measuring, � thermo technical systems – monitoring & measuring of fan-coil system, heating

system, status of fire protection flaps, water detection, � monitoring of temperature and air-humidity sensors in server rooms.
