Location
Finca Adelma chose the Tupungato Valley, in the province of Mendoza as its
Genius Loci, to get the best grapes to create the Grand Malbec Argentino.
The wine area in Tupungato Valley is located in the west central
Argentina, in the province of Mendoza at an altitude of 1100 meters (3600
foot) above sea level, its climate is perfect for growing grapes because it
has a wide temperature range as that favors the structure and quality of
the wine, its rocky soil and low rainfall give the notes that stand to this
area, one of the world’s best wine regions and especially the malbec vari-
ety, much praised internationally.
History
In 2009 with passion and effort Oscar and Jorgelina brought to life Finca
Adelma, a high-end boutique winery, producing the finest Malbec and
a few blends.
The Farm
The Finca Adelma Grand Reserva Malbec is made from grapes from the
Tupungato Valley from where Finca Adelma is nestled with a cultivated
area of 50 Hs, the type of driving is high trellis, pruning system pitoneado
double cordon, its climate is ideal for growing this variety because it has
a wide temperature range which favors the synthesis (formation) of
polyphenols (anthocyanins and tannins) responsible for the structure of the
wine, stony and sandy loam soils, rainfall not exceeding 250 mm (0,800
foot) a year, is undoubtedly one of the best wine regions of the world and
especially the Malbec variety, current seal of Argentine wine in the world

Finca AdelmaGran Reserva Malbec
Intense red with violet tints, reminds red fruits
especially plum and raspberry, also highlight the
aromas coming rom the oak as are the snuff,
chocolate and vanilla, excellent tertiary complexity
daily is being produced. Powerful Caudalia
(duration in the mouth), fleshy (secretion of saliva),
harmonious and soft tannins, balanced and complex.
Open for 60 minutes.Decant.
Service Temperature 64ºF – 68º F.
El Capitán Malbec
Intense red, its aroma is fruity, reminiscent of plum
and blackberry with subtle aging oak giving hints of
vanilla and sweets, highlights its velvety structure,
balanced with a persistent and complex final in
mouth.
Open for 60 minutes. Decant.
Service Temperature 64º F – 68º F.
El CapitánCabernet Sauvignon
Deep red, a cassis, clove with pirazine notes, the oak
gives a nice vanilla and snuff notes. It is round,
persistent, highlights all the characteristics of an
exellent cabernet.

El Capitán Chardonnay
Pale yellow with green hues. The nose is subtle and
delicate, with hints of citrus mainly grapefruit, also
notes of white fruit. On the palate, very fresh fruit
fills the mouth. Tasty wine, delicate and with good
persistence. Balances acidity.
Open for 60 minutes. Decant.
Service Temperature 47º F – 51º F.
Adelma Malbec
Deep red, the nose highlights notes of red plumvand
delicate perfume of violets. The palate has good
concentration. Its structure and acidity and tannins
are balanced, it is a wine with personality. It is
persistent and engaging.
Open for 60 minutes. Decant.
Service Temperature 64º F – 68º F.
Adelma Sauvignon Blanc
Pale yellow with green hues. The nose subtle and
delicate, with hints citrus mainly grapefruit, also
notes of white fruit. On the palate, very fresh fruit
fills the mouth. Tasty wine, delicate and with good
persistence. Balanced acidity.
Open for 60 minutes. Decant.
Service Temperature 47ºF – 51º F.
