He considers his days in Zurich the happiest days of his life as he met with some of his loyal friends and his future wife Mileva Maric there.

While working in the patent office, he discovered that the speed of light remains constant and formulated the principle of relativity.

In this year he also discovered that a small particle of an atom can produce a lot of energy which is known nuclear reaction.

Move to United States

Page 21: Vinit Albert

Before the beginning of the World War II, the power of Germany was in the hands of a Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.

Einstein learned that the Nazi leader had passed a law barring all the Jewish people from holding any position. He also learned that plans were being made to assassinate him.

After knowing all this, he decided to leave Germany forever and moved to United States.

Before World War II

In United States, he took a position in a newly advanced learning institute.

Before the war, he wrote a letter to the president Franklin Roosevelt alerting him about the atomic bomb in Germany, Roosevelt invited Einstein to meet him to discuss about the bomb and initiated the Manhattam project.

Einstein helped USA in the world war by evaluating the designs of future weapons and by auctioning off priceless personal material to earn money.
