The Paratech Damage Control System (DCS)

is a flexible and capable maritime damage

control shoring solution. Everything about the

system has been engineered to simplify the

difficult task Damage Controls Teams have to

face in the harsh and often dangerous working environments they have to perform in.

With the Paratech DCS you will achieve setup speeds never seen with any wood based

system. A standard K brace can be set and fitted within one minute by an experienced

team. The system is very logical and user friendly even for inexperienced crew

members.

All components of Paratech’s DCS are machined from aircraft grade aluminium for

superior strength and hard-coat anodized for maximum salt-spray protection.

Container Piercing Tools

The ability to pierce shipping containers and introduce firefighting media is a vital

safety measure on commercial vessels. Vimpex can offer fully manual options in

the form of Flamefighter Nozzles, Semi-Manual with the Paratech PRT tool or

fully powered with the Paratech Airgun SC. All three methods allow the user to

quickly, safely and efficiently introduce firefighting media where required.

the nozzle into gaps and through containers by striking the base of the nozzle.

A manual tool enhanced by smart engineering which allows

the user to easily insert a piercing nozzle by use of the PRT's sliding action.

In the heat of the battle, a thermal imaging camera is indispensable - a vital

tool that helps you quickly visualize your plan of attack, locate hot spots, and

save lives.

The FLIR K2 is a rugged, reliable, and exceptionally economical thermal

imaging camera specially designed for firefighting applications and severe

conditions. Producing thermal images at 160 x 120 pixel resolution displayed

on a bright 3” screen, the K2 helps firefighters find their way through thick

smoke, assess situations with confidence, and expedite decisions.

FLIR K2 is a compact, light thermal imaging camera that

can be easily attached to SCBA gear. An intuitive user

interface lets firefighters focus on the job at hand. And a

single large button makes the camera simple to activate

even with heavy gloves on.

Engineered to survive tough operating conditions, the

K2 withstands a 2-metre drop onto concrete, is water

resistant (IP67) and is fully operational up to +260°C

(for up to 3 minutes).
