Mrs. Reema Mathew, Assistant Professor, EIE Dept, attended a Faculty Develoment
Training on Advanced Signal and Image processing Technologies from 23 November to
4 December 2015 at College of Engineering, Thalassery.
Mr. Muhammed Sabah M E, PG Scholar, EIE Dept & Mr. Keerthi Chacko, Assis-
tant Professor, EIE Dept published a paper titled “Performance comparison of De–
Centralized controllers in twin tank Interacting system” in International Journal of Engi-
neering Technology Science & Research, ISSN 2394-3386, Vol 2, Issue 8.

3 DAYS WORKSHOP ON INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERING AND DESIGN
3 days workshop was conducted by PETROCIL Industrial training Institute for Final
year students from 16 October to 18 October 2015. The classes were based on how to
draw & what are the uses of piping & instrumentation diagram. The resource persons were
Mr. Rajan, HOD, Instrumentation Engineering & Mr. Vishnu P Renjith, Senior Instrumenta-
tion Engineer. The hands on session was more informative to the students. The coordinators
of the workshop was Mr. Akhil Jose (Asst Prof:, EIE Dept) & Mr. Dhanoj M (Asst Prof:, EIE
Dept). The student coordinator was Mr. Tony Thomas (S7 Student, AEI).
DEPARTMENT ADVISORY BOARD MEETING ON 6 NOVEMBER 2015
Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering department conducted its third Department
Advisory Board Meeting on 6 November 2015. The invited guest included Mr. Ravindranath,
General Manager (HR & Administration, PETROCIL Engineers & Consultant Ltd, Mr. Anudas,
Manager Technical, Cadillac Automation & Controls.
EXPERT TALK ON INTRODUCTION TO CHEMICAL PROCESS CONTROL
An Expert talk on the topic of INTRODUCTION TO CHEMICAL PROCESS CONTROL by Dr. Malladi V Pavan Kumar, Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, NIT Calicut on 20 October 2015 for Final year & Pre final year AEI students in association with ISOI. The staff co-ordinators of the event was Mr. Keerthi Chacko (Asst Prof:, EIE Dept) & Mr. Avinashe K K (Asst
Prof:, EIE Dept). The student Coordinators was Miss. Sanisha Sathyarenjan, (S7 AEI Student).

from Vimal Jyothi Engineering College (2008-
