Living in a tropical surrounding isn’t easy and it can be a challenge if im-

properly dealt with.

Everything at Villa Centofiori, is designed and realized thinking to the

ease and simplicity of it and keep their easy, to facilitate maintenance, to

respect the nature by integrating with it.

The kitchen is an environment that, at these temperatures, can be un-

pleasant to attend. Our kitchen, is raised from the ground and has two

opposite walls that delimit it, the other two sides are open but of course

completely covered and protected from the wind, which could interfere

with the burning flames of kitchen fires. The central table 2m x 2m solid

wood houses all the functions and a cabinet against the wall behind the

location of the cook position, where all the kitchen equipment are located.

The underside of the table, is to accommodate the oven and several draw-

ers and hosting pans and whatever else necessary. A special elevated

rack, overhead the table, accessible from all four sides and where are at

fingertips the ingredients and all the things necessary when cooking.

In the final analysis, is a comfortable, airy and pleasant room where 4

people can work simultaneously without interfering each other, without

accumulation of fumes and odors that within a tropical house would be-

come unpleasant scents.

The table allows three sides (workstations): one side for the preparation of

food, is a surface completely free from encumbrances but with access to

the elevated, overhead structure where are the ingredient, recipes books

and more... It’s easy to prepare homemade pasta without interfering each-

others at the desk. Four persons, actually can work at the same time

without interfering each others and keep them at ease.







One side is dedicated to the sink, large and very comfortable with a high

faucet with a long lever for easy operation. Enough space either side.

The third side is to cook, there is a 3-burner encapsulated on a glass

basement with amble space to the two sides, left and right, have access

and control the elevated, overhead structure-rack and the necessary tools

hung on either side, an electric oven below and a powerful Microwave ov-

en on the rack on the back.

Overhead directional lights to illuminate any square centimeter of the

desk surface.

200lt huge chiller with any programmable temperature you wish, glass

windows allows to locate things you need before opening the doors.







Efforts to find solutions, ergonomic, easy and pleasant for Villa Centofiori,

were not limited to the kitchen but for all that it has been created.

The master bathroom is not simply a toilet where to perform bodily func-

tions but a lounge where to spend time pleasantly and comfortably do

what nature requires.

The wet area is limited to the shower and toilet behind the artistic stained

-glasses.

A wide artistic mirror is entirely occupying the wall over the full length

counter where the washbasin is. Spot lights appropriately light-up strate-

gic places.

I will talk separately about all clever solutions created to make our stay-

ing in Villa Centofiori more comfortable.
