Saint Vincent is located in the Southern Caribbean Sea and forming part of the Windward Islands. It is situated 100m west of Barbados, 55 m north of Grenada and 19m south of St. Lucia. The big island of St. Vincent has rugged mountainous terrain, lush forest and many uncluttered beaches Saint Vincent island is one of the few places on Earth that can boast having black-sand as well as white-sand beaches in the same country. More than 95% of the beaches on the mainland have black sand, while most of the beaches in the Grenadines have white sand.
