Viewing Lot Genealogy

Lot genealogytracks the relationship between lots and provides lot traceability that results from

inventory transactions. This includes all lot splits, merges, and translations.

Lot genealogy also enables you to view where a particular lot is used. or e!ample, one of yousuppliers information you that they supplied with contaminated sugar, which needs to be recalled,

and you used this sugar as an ingredient in the production of doughnuts. "ou can use lot

genealogy to find each lot of doughnuts that contain the contaminated lots of sugar.

#n this e!ample, you will view the material transactions and e!isting reservations for a lot.

1. $egin by navigating the Find Lots/Jobspage.

Click the verticalscrollbar.

1%. The Genealogypage depicts the genealogy of a particular lot. The Lot Attributestab contains information about the lot. The Item &etailsalternative region contains

information about the item and the Lotalternative region contains information about

the lot. The 'riginationalternative region provides information about where the lot

was created and the types of transaction that you used to receive it in to inventory. #t

also provides the document type that you used to receive it into inventory.
