What is QR Code?
QR Code is a machine-readable code consisting of an array of generally black and white squares, typically used for storing URLs or other information for reading by the camera on a smart phone.

it's easy.
1) QR Codes have become very popular in marketing.
2) What are QR codes. Think of a QR code like a bar-code, but it is a bar-code that you decide what the code translates to when deciphered. For instance if you want people to go to your website or call your business phone, you can put them into a QR code. When somebody scans the QR code, they will be taken to your website or will see your business phone number to which they can call.
3) They are extremely easy to make, and I can't believe people are charging to make one for people.
4) The site I use for this demonstration is: http://quikqr.com/, but there are many more free QR code generators out there. This is another good one: http://qrcode.kaywa.com/. Just do a Google search for free QR Code generator.

5) As you can see I have entered the URL (address) for my website: www.csboerne.com. I want a QR code that will take people to my website so they can see the services I provide

6) After I have typed my information in correctly, I press "Generate Code". This takes me to the screen below.

7) Here I have the option of downloading or having my QR code emailed to me. Once, I have the code file I can import it to Word, Publisher, Photoshop, etc. to put in a flyer, advertisement, picture etc. You could also send it to your ad agency, print shop, marketing director, etc. to have them publish it for you. The QR code on this screen is a working code. You can point your smart phone directly at the screen, and it should take you to www.csboerne.com.
8) See how easy that was. Don't pay for what you can do easily yourself.
