This was notified to the Vietnamese authorities in Circular no. 157/2015 / TT-BTC of 13. October 2015. These changes affects to all foreign Vietnam Travelers which are not exempted for Vietnam Visa and it refers to the cost for Vietnam Visa on Arrival. The current fee for issuing a Vietnam Visa on Arrival with single entry is reduced from 45.00 USD to 25.00 USD. The fee for issuing a Vietnam Visa on Arrival with multiple entries and up to 85 days stay is reduced from 95.00 USD to 50.00 USD. Remain unaffected by the new fee are Vietnam Visa on Arrival for multiple entries and stays not exceeding 29 days. In this cases the unchanged fee for Vietnam Visa issuing is still 65.00 USD. This also has an impact on as Online-Tourist Visa well-known Vietnam Visa which offered by ITI-HOLIDAY at their websites. Comparison Vietnam Visa Fee (valid from 23.11.2015): This is another of countless changes to the Vietnam Visa and Entry Regulations in recent years. Just on 01. July 2015 came into effect the 14-day visa exemption for travelers from France, Germany, Spain, Italy and England. All Vietnam Visa for multiple entries and stays of more than 30 days have been abolished in February 2015 but later again introduced as Visa on Arrival in August 2015. Early 2014 the fee of the Vietnam Visa had been increased for the last time by about 30%. Background for the current reduction of the fee at Vietnam Visa is probably a stagnant economic development in Vietnam. The tourism plays an essential role in the Vietnamese Economy. The numbers of to Vietnam traveling tourists are constant according to reports of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism. However, there have been billions in investment in recent years, which were aimed to growing visitor numbers. Only one but probably the best example of this is the new modern terminal at the airport in Hanoi. Such investments in Vietnam must at some point also generate profits although the construction of the new Hanoi airport terminal was funded largely on foreign development aid and economic development. At disuse of airports capacity same as at not opened airports however losses will be obtained. The Germans with their airport construction site in Berlin can this confirm most certainly.

Overview of monthly visitors to Vietnam in 2014 / 2015:

Vietnam in recent years has been obviously a little pampered by the huge increases in foreign tourist numbers. Therefore one has probably not seen that an impressive scenery and interesting culture are not sufficient to ensure further growth in tourism. One swallow in Vietnam also does not make a summer. Here probably it is necessary in the coming years a change of attitudes at authorities as well further investments in the right areas. This would be for example the safety of foreigners in the country and the legal certainty as well the combating of crime in general.
