2015 sees robust development of Vietnam’s tourism sector

online check-in service for passengers

without checked baggage traveling on

domestic flights departing from Noi Bai, Da

Nang and Tan Son Nhat airports.

• 5 European countries will be officially exempted from Visa coming into

Vietnam. The selected countries are Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy

and Spain. Visitors from these countries are granted a maximum stay of

15 days in Vietnam without any Visa charges and the exemption shall be

effective from the 01st of July, 2015 for one year.

DESTINATION UPDATENew infrastructure

• HCMC will launch 10 golf cart vehicles to

offer city tours at a maximum ticket price of

VND10,000 (46.2 U.S. cents) per person

from early next month. Each of the ten 12-

seat carts will depart every ten minutes

from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.

• Upgraded highway which links Dong Nai Province and the Central

Highlands province of Lam Dong, was opened to traffi late April 2015.

It shortens HCMC-Dalat distance to 6 hours drive instead of 8 hours.

The upgraded 109.5-kilometer section of the highway runs from Dau

Giay T-Junction near the HCMC-Long Thanh-Giau Day Expressway, to

Provincial Road 725 in Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province.

DESTINATION UPDATENew infrastructure

• A direct service connecting Guangzhou, China and Nha Trang city in

central Khanh Hoa province by China Southern Airlines went into

operation on June 20. The direct route will have three return flights

per week using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

• Nha Trang Sea festival to be held from July

7 to 14. The festival will include many

attractive activities such as conferences,

cuisines, exhibitions, fashion shows, kite

festival and art programs…
