Anewmagazine“IntellyJelly”forkidswasintroduced.Childrenwereaskedvariousquestions,puzzlesandplayedsomeeducationalgamestoo.

AworkshoponcriticalthinkingwasattendedbyMs.SunitaTyagiandMs.SunitaMohanty.
•Holicelebration
Holiwascelebratedwithgreatzealandenthusiasm.Apartywas organised for the teachers. Teacherswere servedwithspecialHolisnacks.Teachersplayedwithgulaalandenjoyedthemselves.
Manyeminentsponsorsofourschooltookoutvaluabletimefromtheirbusyschedulestobeapartofthisspecialshow.TheVidyaintegratedwingpresentedanumberofshowssuchasaskitwhichwaspresentedinEnglishbythestudentsofOpenschool.Adancewasalsoperformedbythestudents.Agroupsongwasalsopresentedbythewomenofthewing. The functionwas appreciated byall the special guests and theteachers.

• The �irstgroupofwomenwhounderwentdrivingsessionshaspickedupthebasicdrivingskills.Inordertoenhancetheirskillsfurthertheywillbe provided training/guidance on the schoolcampus.
• English and Life Skill classes are going well. They haveshown improvement in assessments. Through Life Skillthere is change in their thinking.Nowtheyhavebecomemorepositiveintheirattitudetowardslife.
• InComputers theyhavebeen impartedknowledgeabouton-line&e-commerceportals.Theyweretaughthowtodoon-linepaymentsthroughportalslikePayTm.AlongwithPayTmtheywerealsotaughthowtousesocialmedialikeFacebook.TheyalsolearnedtheuseofWhatsAppwhichwillbeveryhandywhentheytakeupdrivingasaprofession.
• TheywillhavetheirNDLMon-lineexaminthemonthofMarch.LearnershadarevisionsessionatNIITFoundationcentreonFebruary9th2016.
• The �irst group of 8 women who underwent road driving hascompletedtheirclasses.OneofthemhasgotaplacementastrainerinMaruti.
• StudentshavegiventheironlineNDLMExam(NIITFoundation)andhavegottheircerti�icate.
• AcquiringknowledgeinEnglishhasputthesewomenontheforefrontandtheyhaveacquiredacquiringcon�idencetocompetewithothers.Life skills are helping them to have a roundedpersonality.

• Adventure Camp – students of class V went for anadventure camp to Ramjas ground organized by YouthAdventure on 12th Feb. 2016. Rock climbing, Rappelling,BurmaBridge,FlyingFox,DoubleRopeBridge,WallClimbing& Rope Ladder were the highlight of the camp. Childrenrealizedtheimportanceofphysical�itnessandmentalalertness.
• Workshop–ThreeteachersofBalViharattendedaworkshoptitled:Sex education and relationshipmanagementinclassroomthroughstories, conducted by Mr AmeenHaquefounderofStorywallah.
• The last month of the academicyear endedwith �inal exams. 284Studentsappearedin�inalexam.

• 276werepromotedtonextclassand158studentsscoredaboveaveragemarks.PTMwasheldon19thMarchtodeclaretheresult.Parentsweregivenyearlyassessmentreportandstudentsof5thstandardwereguidedadmissiontootherschools.98%parentsattendedthePTM.
• On11thMarch72girlsunderwentTaekwondobeltupgradationtest.
• 65 new students were admitted in theschoolindifferentclassesforthenew a c a d e m i csession.

•VasantPanchamiVasantPanchamiwascelebratedatthecentreon12February2016.AllofusprayedtoGoddessSaraswatiasthegoddessoflearning.SweetsintheformofPrasadweredistributed.Everyoneworeyellowclothes.
•CarFreeDay
On 2 2 n d F e b r u a r y 2 0 1 6 , w eparticipatedin5thCarFreeDay,startedbyDelhiGovernmentat7.30Am.22students&3teachersfromMunirkawerepresentattheevent.AlltheMLAsandMr.GopalRoy,honorabletransportministerwere present on stage. The program startedwith a patriotic song, followed by a street play, treeplantation, cycle rally, padyatra(foot march) and aculturalprogram.
•Inter-agencyNGOmeet:
On28thFeb201,10studentsfromMunirkacommunityprojectparticipated in an inter agency meet organized by theDepartment of Social work, Jamia Millia and NSS. Event iscomprisedoftwosectionssportsandculturalprogram.Adityagotthe�irstprizeinsackrace.Kiran,Gulista,BhavnaandAnitacome�irstingrouptaskactivity.ThesamegirlsgotthethirdprizeinDancecompetition.Theirdanceperformancehighlightedissueofviolenceagianstwomen.

VIDYAstartedawomen'sskillcentrewithsupportfromFederalMogulintheMotilalNehru camp after conducting a needassessment. The program will bringsigni�icantchangeinthelivesofthewomenofMunirkaand MotilalNehrucampofDelhi. The program was formallyinaugurated on 9th Feb 16 byMr s . Ha rd e ep i n t h ep r e s e n c e o f E Bmember of
VIDYA. 27 women enrolled in the program to getprofessional training in stitching and tailoring fromUSHA. A structured curriculum will enable learners tobecomepro�icientattheendof6months.USHAwilldoanevaluation and certify the successful candidate. Oncompletion thesewomen canwork as trainers,work fromhome,takeupjobsorstartamicroenterprise.
•Finalexamsstartedfrom17March2016.
ExtraHelp•6volunteersfromCSS,oneofthemEmaisinfactareturningvolunteer.ShecametoMunirkaone-and-halfyearsago;andhascome again with friends andfamily.TheyhelpedourstudentsinMathsandEnglish.

On22March2016,we spreadawarenessabout savingwaterandneed forhygienicwater.Studentsmadepostersandslogans.Staff,studentsandvolunteersdiscussedthetopic.
•FestivalofColoursOn 22 March 2016, we spreadawareness about saving water andneed for hygienic water. Students madeposters and slogans. Staff, students andvolunteersdiscussedthetopic.

•31March2016wasthelastday.Wehadafarewell.Studentsgottheir�inalresults.
Closingceremony
Thiscentrehasbeenrunningforthelasttwodecades.Beyondandcrechprogramswerediscontinued.Kidsandtheirmotherexpressedgratitudetotheteachersfortheirservicetothecommunity.

InPAPPANKALA• Awareness session on Hepatitis: On 19th of February weconducted a health awareness session on Hepatitis. 45 peoplereceived information how the disease spreads, its symptoms,precaution, prevention and information about the treatment ofHepatitis.
•ExamPreparation:PreparationandrevisionofallthesubjectswasconductedasinMarchstudentshave�inalexamsintheirregularschoolas well as in our center. In the month of March children were busypreparingandappearinginthe�inalexamsintheirregularschool.Ourremedial students scored good grades. Neha, Nishu, Sabiya, Roshan,Bhoomika,NishaKumari andSunnynotonlygotgoodgradesbutalsosecured1st,2ndand3rdpositions.
•Onthe22ndwecelebratedWorldWaterDaybyconductinganawarenesssessiononimportanceofcleanwaterandneedtosavewater.
