Purpose and DescriptionThis game, Gem Hunter, was created with the purpose in
mind to entertain.players while also educating them on various
forms of basic code. lt's important to inform people in the
modern day world, which is surrounded by video games and
coded software usage daily. The more educated people are on
the topic of video games and how they work, the more
informed they will be and respectful of just how muih work
actually goes into making these beloved games. lt's also
fantastic to just sit back, relax, and play a game that was
created by yourself and a group
A young lad, who has an addiction for shiny valuable
items, goes through a series of daunting tasks to achieve what
he loves best. Treasure. This addict completes a series of
challenges in order to find said valuables and nothing stands in
his way.

Hardware and Software Used
The hardware used in the making of this video
game was a Personal Computer and the accessories
for it such as a mouse and keyboard. ,
The software used includes, GdmeMaker
Studio, BeepBox, Windows L0 and BFXR. i
GameMaker Studio was used to create and code
the game. BeepBox was incorporated for music
within the video game. Windows L0 was used as the
basic operating system for the personal computer,
and BFXR was used for the created of the sound
effects within the game to help bring it to life.
ReferencesFor any sprites that have been incorporated,
Heartbeast.co was sourced and only royalty free sprites were
used
Yoyo GameMaker guides and heartbeast GameMaker
guides were used in the process to assist in the making this
video game. ;
