Genre: It is the genre dance, you can tell with all the different sounds along with only the featuring singing during the chorus. You can see older actors showing in there early twenties, this would attract the audience so that they can escape reality.

Narrative: You know that this is an old school video with the actors wearing burbury along with going to illegal raves in the middle of know where. The narrative is linear because it is over the evening going into the morning with a straight storyline. Narrative is saying that drugs are good, when at the beginning they are rolling a cannabis roll with hash inside. Then when you get to the video where they are in the illegal rave, you can see that they have taken another substance, which effects them. It also hints to do stuff with your friends whether your taking the risk or not.

The audience: is for the younger generation with more of a male dominated video. I would say the demographic that watches this is 16-24, linking more to unemployed and working class seeing as they are the stereotypes in the video. The verisimilitude of the video is so that the audience or listener can escape from reality or to reminisce along with your friends.

There are no references to other videos. Sweet sensation, dance with the devil and self destruct are all lyrics involved in

the video all hinting to drugs along with a large group of mates. When the video slows down the music slows down as well. The amplifying

sounds is created when the ‘drop’ comes and they all start dancing They have close ups of all the different characters but you only get an glimpse of

chase and status. No sexual references with the whole video based around the 90’s.

This genre is dance/Hip-Hop/Pop. Its not a fast paced video, its relaxing with slow tones.

There are loads of sexual references along with dancing with 3 super models in which an alternate version has them walking around topless. They do contradict themselves along with the visuals because they are talking about sex then they show a sheep, so technically they are ultimately making a joke. It also brings in illustrative as well because they have the 3 super models who they are dancing with which relates back the songs lyrics.

The music is illustrative as well bringing in a funky sort of beat with a funky video mixing the suits with the sheep and hay with the super models.

The video is trying to drill in #thicke which is a term they use on twitter when you search in #thicke. This could be for publicity because if they get the message across for Thicke it means that they will get more people looking at there music video.

There are loads of references to a sexual notion from this video. There is only one case of intertexual reference when they are pouring out the

expensive alcohol which connotes that they are very rich with a high end attitude.

It’s a rap/dance genre with big bass when the beat ‘drops.’

Music with lyrics the chorus say ‘When fake love goes, true colours show, they know there is no messing with my team.’ This shows there ‘squad’ which is there team of friends on motorbikes, quad bikes and bicycles. This shows that all the friends that have left have shown there real side and that there original friends have stayed.

They have big bass on there track. This links in with the visual because they are riding around on motorbikes and quad bikes, which creates a loud rumbling noise when they ride past you in which links in with the bass in the track.

The record labels show there brand of clothing such as ‘I play dirty’ which is the label and the artist yungen wearing ‘forever yung.’

They have no notion and intertexual reference.
