APC has always been a
Spirit-based,
Spirit-filled, and
Spirit-empowered
church. In 2015 . . .
Not by power, nor might, but by His Spirit (Zech. 4:6)
continues to be our
mantra. As we continue
through this year (and
beyond), may His
Spirit be the
trademark of APC. By His Spirit, both
temporal and eternal
successes are
accomplished.
Building Growth
Update:
Thank you for your
response and
continued support of
our Building Growth

We all love seasons of
blessing and addition
in our lives. However,
the nature of time
and life is that
everyone will also go
through seasons of
trial and subtraction.
We must always, and
specifically in those
times, remember that
God is a restorer!
David said “He
restoreth my soul”
(Ps. 23:3). Jesus
himself spoke these
words in John 10:10,
“The thief cometh
not, but for to steal,
and to kill, and to
destroy: I am come
that they might
have life, and that
they might have it
more abundantly.”
The enemy of our soul
would like us to focus
on what has been
Vision. Our monthly
commitments amount to
$8797.50 per month,
which is 92% of our
monthly loan payment.
Thanks to those who have
committed; if you have not
as yet submitted a
commitment I encourage
your involvement.
Our initial vision was to
obtain 8 acres; at this
point we own 7.98
acres. It is evident
that the Lord is helping
us to fulfill the vision
for which we have
prayed.
Currently, we are in the
process of obtaining county permits for filling and grading the
acreage directly in
front of the main
entrance.
By His Spirit,
Pastor Willeford
The enemy of our soul would like us to focus on what
has been lost, but doing so only threatens one’s
future in God.
There are many who have walked away from God and
struggle to hope for any kind of future in him due to
their past or a particular loss in life.
This mindset is simply not consistent with the
word of God.
Jesus preached his inaugural message to his home
crowd in Nazareth. Luke 4:18 provides his mission
statement to the world as he proclaimed, “The
Spirit of the Lord is upon me . . . to preach the
gospel to the poor . . . heal the brokenhearted . . .
preach deliverance to the captives . . . recovering of
sight to the blind . . . set at liberty them that are
bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Each of these 6 points has to do with restoration.
His last statement, “to preach the acceptable year
of the Lord,” refers to the year of Jubilee with
which all Jews were very familiar. The year of
Jubilee was celebrated every fiftieth year.
Throughout the land, a trumpet was blown and a
proclamation was made of the liberty of Hebrew
slaves, remission of debts, and restoration of
possessions to their original owners.
Simply stated, whatever they had lost was restored,
whatever they owed was paid, whatever was bound
was set free, and families who had been separated
were reunited. That is a God of restoration!
This is what we will believe, pray, and work for
leading up to September 20th. Then “by His Spirit,”
we’ll experience it, and celebrate it on that day.
