When we started this in our garage in 2012, we wanted to do one thing: make wooden bats that baseball players love. Bats that felt good to swing. Bats that we were proud to hand to our friends.

Those hungry days of sweat and sawdust paid off. 2017 and 2018 saw back-to-back big league MVPs repping the “V” and calling Victus their brand. And who could forget the show that Bryce put on in the derby or the tear that Tim went on to win the batting title last year?

It may seem crazy, but it’s not. Not when everything we make gets crafted with an obsession for quality and feel that only baseball players understand. We’ll never give that up.

We’re still evolving as a brand with new product lines and new offerings each season. From stepping into the world of aluminum to apparel built for ballplayers, we’ve become more than just a wooden bat company. But as we continue to grow, we’ll never forget where we came from. We’ll never forget what it means to be Victus Made.

Swinging the Victus Tatis23 Pro Reserve, the newest addition to our Show Series line, Tatis came out firing on all cylinders. Crafted from extremely dense maple milled in the USA and featuring a distinct feel built to rake, the Dominican-born star made waves in more ways than one during his debut season. El Niño, as they call him, loves the fact that the more you hit with maple, the harder it gets due to the nature of its hardened close-grained construction for maximum impact with every at-bat.

Tim Anderson isn’t your average shortstop. He may not even be your average baseball player. And his average at the plate... well that’s different too.

Last season saw the rise of Chicago’s favorite son, Tim Anderson – the trash-talkin', bat-flippin' batting champ. He’s been swinging Victus since day one, but last season, his best yet, saw him make the switch to birch with his TA7 model.

The TA7 is an end-loaded beast that packs a ton of whip through the zone, perfect for “handsy” hitters like Tim who like to control how the ball comes off the barrel. Because Birch is a more flexible species of wood than both maple and ash, it reacts to contact in a more complex way. The grains compact over time and create an even harder barrel with increased durability. Anderson used that to his advantage all season long, cracking a league-high .335 batting average with his weapon of choice.
