The 106" Stroker kit boosted performance by 37 horsepower over stock! S&S Stroker kit installation is no more difficult than rebuilding a stock engine.All parts are designed to bolt into the stock crankcase with no machining and only minor modifications required. These kits do not include an S&S air cleaner kit because that is the first upgrade most riders do.

This dyno chart shows the increase in power and torque that the S&S 106” Stroker Kit delivers over a stock 92” or 100” engine. The 106” test engine was equipped with Victory Stage I mufflers. Dyno results from Dyno Jet® 200 Chassis dynamometer at S&S Cycle’s Research and Development facility in Viola, Wisconsin.

Note: Installation of the S&S 106” Stroker Kit in a 92” engine requires that a Victory 100” cylinder and piston kit also be installed.

The installation of this S&S® high performance product, requires that the stock ECU (Electronic Control Unit) be re-calibrated with the Freedom® Performance Tuner to provide the correct fuel and ignition timing for proper engine performance. The dealer performing this re-calibration must be both an authorized S&S and Victory® dealer.

s&s® 495 cams for 2003-uP model Victory® freedom® enginesS&S 495 cams and springs for Victory® Freedom® engines have been available for several years now and have been included in the S&S 106" stroker Hot Set Up Kit® for Victory.

A new cam kit is now available for 2009-up model engines that includes cam carriers. The S&S cams are not compatible with the 2009-up cam carriers so in order to install these cams in the new bikes, it is necessary to retro-fit the engine with early style carriers. In addition, some extra parts will need to be purchased and used in the installation. See the chart below.

In order to install the S&S 495 cams in any Victory Freedom engine, high lift springs need to be installed.

This new S&S® 495 kit for 2009-up Victory® Freedom® engines includes early style cam carriers to retro-fit the engine to be compatible with the S&S cams. High lift valve springs are required. S&S® 495 valve springs are required for the S&S 495 cams and work great

for other high lift cams with .495” lift or less.

SPeCiAl nOteS.It should be noted that the calibration file for this kit was developed for use with the Victory Stage I Performance Slip-On mufflers and Victory Stage I Exhaust Systems. This tune file can only be accessed by a Victory dealer using the S&S Freedom® Performance Tuner software.

If the installer is not a Victory dealer, we recommend the Dynojet® Power Commander® for EFI tuning.

If a different exhaust is used or other engine modifications are performed, we recommend the Dynojet® Power Commander® for EFI tuning.

The test bike was a 2005 Victory® Hammer®. The lower set of curves represent stock configuration, and the upper curves show the gains with the S&S high flow air cleaner and Victory Stage I mufflers. Note that the curves are almost identical until about 3000 rpm. At that point the engine needs more air than the stock air cleaner can provide. The S&S air cleaner provides the extra air so the engine can make more power.

HigH Performance intaKe for Polaris® ranger rZr® and rZrs®

S&S® Cycle's new high performance intake system for Polaris Ranger RZR and RZRS consists of an air box, tuned runner, pre-filter, and filter. The S&S intake system replaces the stock intake with minor modifications to the vehicle’s box. Flow bench tests show that the S&S intake flows 11% more air than the stock system. Installing the filter alone to a stock RZR will produce 4 horsepower at 4000 rpm. See dyno chart. To make the most of the additional breathing capability of the S&S intake system, we recommend that it be used with the S&S exhaust system shown on page 6-8.

The air box is constructed of sturdy rotational molded high density polyethylene and fits up to the box of the RZR with only minor modifications. A cutting template is included. A pre-filter traps the majority of the dirt before it gets to the washable pleated gauze element. Installation of the S&S intake system can usually be done in about an hour.

HigH Performance exHaust for Polaris® ranger rZr® and rZrs®

S&S® Cycle's exhaust system for Polaris Ranger RZR and RZRS consists of a header, mid-pipe and 5" diameter muffler. The all welded stainless steel construction makes these components virtually vibration proof. Components are held together with springs, facilitating quick and easy installation. The design of the muffler does not use sound absorbing materials, relying instead on the exhaust path and chambering to control noise. That means that the muffler never needs to be repacked. That also means that performance and noise levels will not change over time. The muffler is designed with a billet aluminum end-cap, which holds the US Forestry Service approved spark arrestor in place. The S&S exhaust system is quiet enough to ride on any trails in the continental United States with a maximum output of under 96 dB(A) per SAE J1287.

A special order part number is also available that allows customer to order pistons for any compression ratio from 9.5:1 to 15:1, in quarter point increments. S&S® valve train kits for Polaris® Ranger RZR® and RZRS® contain all components needed to install the camshaft to achieve its full performance potential. Does not include engine gaskets.

S&S® valve train kits for Ranger RZR and RZRs include an S&S camshaft, a set of S&S high performance hydraulic roller tappets, tappet alignment plates, a set of pushrods, an S&S high performance valve spring kit, valve guide seals, and assembly lube. These are new cams manufactured in-house at S&S with no core charge required!Two cam grinds are available. Both grinds have .475" lift, but with different valve timing. One grind yields the greatest gains between 3000 and 6500 rpm, and the other is designed for a higher rpm range of 5000 to 7000 rpm. S&S high performance cams are perfect for higher compression engines. Since the engine must be removed from the vehicle to install the cams, we recommend that S&S 11:1 compression pistons be installed at the same time as the cams. Reprogramming the stock EFI module is also highly recommended, or better yet, a new S&S module can be purchased with the correct fuel and ignition curves installed.

Getting more power out of an engine boils down to getting more air into it. One of the simplest and most cost effective ways to do that is to install a low restriction, high performance air cleaner. In this case, it’s also one of the coolest looking ways to do it.

The S&S teardrop air cleaner kit features the classic cool of the traditional S&S teardrop shaped cover and the performance increase that has come to be associated with it.

The dyno shows a significant increase in both horsepower and torque when the S&S air cleaner for Honda® Fury® is combined with a set of performance pipes and tuned with a Power Commander® module. The lowest curves (black) show a stock Fury as a baseline. The middle curves (blue) show the Fuggin Viper 2 system, and the top (red) curves show Cobra® pipes with the baffles removed. S&S Cycle has been making American V-twins go faster for over 50 years. Now, we are offering a new high-performance product for a metric V-twin that delivers the same kind of performance improvement as our other products.

The new S&S teardrop air cleaner kit for 2002-‘08 Honda® VTX® 1800 models not only comes through with classic good looks, but provides an easy horsepower gain as well. The SuperFlow® dyno shows a gain of over 2 peak horsepower and about 1 ft/lb of torque with addition of the air cleaner alone. The air cleaner with of a set of performance exhaust pipes and an aftermarket EFI tuning module showed an increase of over 6 peak horsepower and over 10 ft/lb of torque.

This dyno shows how the S&S® air cleaner kit for Honda® VTX® 1800 improves performance. The bottom (black) curve shows stock motorcycle. The blue curves show the same bike with the air cleaner only. The top curves show the S&S air cleaner, D&D Pipes, and an aftermarket EFI tuning module. An increase of over 6 horsepower and 10 ft/lb of torque is definitely something you will feel in the “seat of the pants dyno”.

This S&S teardrop air cleaner kit for Kawasaki Vulcan 900 models is not just for show. Despite the good looks and the classic styling of the chrome plated S&S teardrop cover, this thing works. Improved air-flow equates to more power. Of course a set of performance exhaust and tuning will complete the package and result in more power than the air cleaner alone. Our tests show an increase of about 3 horsepower by installing the S&S air cleaner kit on an otherwise stock bike, but the addition of a set of Hardkrome Stripper Straights performance pipes and tuning with a Power Commander® resulted in over 5 additional horsepower.
